Hello, just curious if these are double strokes or if you are bouncing especially as you are going at faster speeds? Thanks 🙏.
As i get to higher speeds I tend to bounce. But al low speeds it's more controlled with a double stroke
@IsaacSacre thanks 🙏
what did you do to balance out your weaker hand thats been a problem to me for so long
Everytime you do a drill. How ever much you play on your strong hand you should play double the amount on the weaker. Eg 10 strokes on strong then 20 on the weak. Hope this helps!
It might just be the camera angle but it looks like your chopping a bit
Probs was mate
SHOULD SAY *FOLLOWED BY DOUBLE PARADIDDLE*
Bro u look like young Orlando Bloom also good advice
Thanks man!
It's a paradiddlediddle followed by double paradiddle alternated.
Absolutely no idea why I wrote single paradiddle. Cheers for pointing that out 👍
Thank you
No worries man!
Woah gotten way better since the take five video
Cheers man
Good job buddy keep going
Appreciate it!
Ita too epic
Cheers mate!
Good video
Thanks for the visit
I tried a lot of times but i can't doed can you do a video explain it the tecnique more slow and more easy
It's all about the bounce of the stick. As the stick comes up from the first bounce use your thumb to push it back down to initiate another bounce
@IsaacSacre yeah but how you do for the stick dont goign crazy at the 5 sec of baounce the stick,
Sounds awesome might have to give that a go!
It's a top tune. Good luck!
Really enjoying this Isaac! Greatings from the Netherlands
Glad you enjoy this! Coming to the Netherlands soon and am very excited!

Gotta love the Rossana Shuffle, just learnt it today!
Drumming classic
Question! started working more with my left foot recently, and I’m curious what technique you use? Like is it more heel up like you would hit a kick? Or more heel down? I’m wondering about it for those parts when you are constantly keeping time on it, cause my leg be getting tired haha!
Good question! More of a heel up guy to get a louder "chick" but I'm heel down for my right foot
@IsaacSacre Gotcha! Makes sense, thanks man! Yeah, I think I heel up for kick cause I do a lot of CCM, so I need to feel that thing in my chest haha! Thanks!
Man I only wish ok 11 stroke roll om going to learn it thank you.
You 100% can do this given practice

I love the muscle memory kicking in to hold the cymbals even though you didn't strike them! Nice roll!
😂😂😂 never noticed that!
Im grade 8 and youre smashing this. Theres no way youre not grade 8 already.
Its funny how this grade 6 piece is way harder than some of the rock and pop grade 8 pieces 🤣. Thanks a lot for the comment man!
@IsaacSacre yeah dude. I was stuck with battercada, victory and grebfruit. though grebfruit is fun.
One of.
110%
I love how tight your snare is. Im adhd and all i want on this earth is a tigbt snare. I do more fusion stuff on the jd beck and zackgrooves genre but its always nice to stop by here and appreciate the appreciation for jazz. Have you tried aj5 sticks btw? With this snare tuning theyd sound mint. Or the meinl nano sticks.
Thanks a lot for the comment! I have not tried those sticks but will defo investigate them, much love ❤️.
What is this ride?
Istanbul Agop special edition jazz ride 22"
That's push pull
I disagree.
@IsaacSacre Good for you, you're still using push pull technique that's used for double strokes, bit just once
Roll , outstanding fill
Thanks man
Great speed
Cheers bud

For that jazz ride, do u just let it bounce? Or you control each hit
For the bell grooves I find it hard to bounce, but on everything else I use throw catch

Incredible snare comping! I love the strong hi hat sound aswell
Means a lot matey!
The middle groove is my favourite!
My aunt (pro violinist at the BBC concert orchestra)’s reaction, “way harder than it looks I bet.”
Always found uptempo harder to comp over while maintainimg good dynamics!
Obviously there are more aspects but i believe these will get you on the way to playing some nice jazz!
Probably my favorite tempo to comp at!
Apologies, obviously should have said faster "tempos" not temperatures:l
To be fair it was hilarious
I like temperatures lmao. I thought it was creative because you sweat more the faster it gets.
One of my favorite fills. Or to use in a solo!
I would definitely pay to watch you solo
Thanks man! Defo will be working on some affordable online paid content next year!
Up to speed your left hand is as pronounced as your right hand. I also like the hint of accents in your phrasing, you imply some accent points at one point thus showcasing your melodic notions flowing through you. Excellent performance
Thanks a lot man. Means a lot 🩵
@IsaacSacre Im glad, but really thank you. Discovering your upload has inspired me to revisit my double stroke work. You are contributing to musical knowledge
Jazz always sounds great with a cross stick
This tune is so simple as well. All about the feel.
Possibly some dodgy left foot on this, sorry 😢
