Depends if you are a strong swimmer. I e had no problems but I have heard some people have drowned..

Thank you! We put a lot of work into our videos.. the jacket was a local NZ company called Mountain Warehouse, I’ve recently upgraded to a Macpac 10,000ml rain jacket because that green one wasn’t very effective with heavy rain.

Can you please explain why you chose the inca trail and not salcantai ? We are trying to decide between the two of them

@@reem101188 we mainly chose the Inca Trail for its history. I did the Lares trail 10 years ago also. Both are very good, Lares and Salkantay are great if you want a bit more peace and quiet, although they are getting more popular and I was surprised by how few groups we encountered on the Inca Trail. Surpassed expectations.

I think it has a unique charm to it.. I’ve done several trips to San Pedro de Atacama and loved it there.. going there and seeing how my dad works I guess is what made this trip to Chile so unique but we have definitely explored Chile’s natural wonders in more detail in other videos. Hope you are enjoying your time working there! 😃

Yeah we heard they had just received a lot of rain. We were there 6 months beforehand and it was very dry.

I agree with both of those statements lol. We did Patagonia in a lot of details, including Torres del Paine where we did the W Trek (you should definitely check out our videos). I was born in Australia but have lived in NZ for 6 years, good spot with the accent!

@GlobalTravelStories I was born in Chile, but have lived in Australia since I was a young child. I have travelled back there many times and my Australian born children have also visited. I was fortunate enough that my daughter took me to Torres del paine last year as a bday gift. This was the most magical place I have ever encountered, followed closely by Pucón.
