I always loved John’s voice on this in the voicing of the harmony bits. He’s the middle harmony which is a little higher than maybe he’s comfortable. I love how it sounds. Rubber Soul era John’s voice is my favorite.

I can’t understand tha bassline at all but it sounds so good combined with everything else. I guess that’s the genius of McCartney.

This, And I Love Her and She’s Leaving Home are McCartney’s best songs in my opinion. His ‘darker’ songs are by far more interesting.

Just heard the Stevie Wonder song playing in my local cafe. Never heard it before, but immediately picked up on the shared melody. Had to ask the cafe owner what the song was. Felt like Bowie had left a message that appeared to me years after his death 😢
