Human Development Institute

The Human Development Institute is Kentucky's University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities Education, Research and Service. We focus our efforts on improving lifelong opportunities and services for individuals with disabilities, their families and the community.
The Institute provides a strong foundation for more than 40 research, training and service projects, addressing a wide range of topics and issues in areas such as early childhood, education and alternate assessment, transition across the lifespan, employment, community living, and personnel preparation.
HDI is unit of the Office of the Vice President for Research at the University of Kentucky and a member institution of the Association of University Centers on Disabilities (AUCD).

Do you guys actually now the way clients are treated no you don’t not until you are a client yourself will you ever understand so be wise and shut up
The staff your provider companies hire are deplorable!! That’s the nicest way I can put it
What have you done about abuse cases as far as prosecuting them you shouldn’t just fire them but prosecute them
What do you do with clients that don’t have high enough waivers for what their needs are and please don’t lie

What if you dont receive SSDI?
The Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (OVR) serves many people with disabilities who do not receive SSDI. My teachers didn’t even help me after I graduate they just left me by myself and every time when I called them they were always ignore my voicemail I graduate high school two years ago and they didn’t want to help me turn out they are good for special ed teacher and there are evil special ed
