You know guys I read and reread the hobbit, the lord of the rings trilogy when I was young. Have you stopped and pondered the length of those three films? When you make a movie, especially one with as much action as those books contain something has to be cut out. No fan of Tolkien is ever going to be completely pleased unless you want films six hours long. I thought the films stayed as true to the books as they could. Would I have loved to see Aragorns background fleshed out more, but I understand why it wasn’t. The fact that it wasn’t in the film made him more mysterious, which in a movie is what you want. I think they were the best films ever made of the lord of the rings.

What a beautiful film you have made! You picked out a small part of the rich history and made it gripping and moving - great! Only one thing tore me out as a Tolkien nerd: The beautiful forests, mountains and hills where your film is set don't match the vast plains of Rohan for me. But what the hell: In the end, it hardly matters. Thank you for this film!

How is this so good It is obviously extremly low budget and not professionally done but I felt chills for like two solid miutes non stop in the end. How could amazon fuck up that badly. It is insane. This is more like lotr than even the hobbit trillogy. I am in awe.

That fight scene... wow! must be the best I've ever seen as in ever ever since it's so realistic. Way better than those stylized perfect smooth rehearsed a 1000 times hollywood fighting scenes
