Good video. Glad I’ll save money making it myself.
Great Video! Thanks Very Much. By The Way, can you substitute vermiculite for Perlite?🤔🇨🇦
No. Vermiculite hold on to moisture
THANK YOU! ! !
Very helpful and easy thank you!
Nice and easy thanks!
Thank you...simple, easy, to the point! 👍
First time seeing it done this way. I love seeing how people do different things this way. Nice video.
I have to try this. But does the salt in the oil make your skin feel dried out or pasty?
Would I be able to use "tube sand" for the soil?
You smart
Hi there! Thank you for your vídeo. Can I use salt on any plant when infusing oil please?

Doesn't look very homemade to me. I have to buy a lot of stuff I don't have at home. 😕
What’s the ratio of everything

how and why is your camera vertical!?!?!? seriously...
Magyar nyelven nem lehet?
Thank you very much for sharing you goo job.
This is a great video! What do you think about just using straight sand?
did you find out your answer
Some people said sand more than soil, some said soil more than sand. Im kindda confuse. when I put lots of sand ( all purpose sand from Home depot), I feel like it makes my mix compack and heavy when water. Don't know why? After I water my succulents it keeps mix wet for like a week which cause the root rotted. Not sure how to fix it. Compare with store bought mix, when water it dry like a day!
Same thing happened to me. I'm leaving out the sand part now. It was too frustrating.
I find that sand is too heavy and retains a lot of water. It's no good for succulents and cacti
It has to be coarse sand. Fine sand will suffocate the roots.
it need to be coarse sand not fine sand, 3 parts soil, 3 parts coarse sand and 2 parts pumice
Well hes giving false info, or maybe was not really clear. Dont use “play sand”, you dont want powder because it will clump and hold way too much water. It has to be coarse. Grab a handfull and squeeze it, if it retains its shape instead of falling apart then its not going to work
can this oil be used to make candles or soaps? is it strong enough??
Im.gonna try this
Does the perlite that you're using have plant food in it. Like the Miracle-Gro kind.. I'm planting an aloe plant and I want to know which perlite is good for it. I was told that you can't fertilize it during the winter
God's Angel this was pure perlite, with no added fertilizers.
where did you buy the scoop for soil from?
you could probably find one at a feed store. they look like scoops for livestock feed
@@samanthaholliman6984 thanks
nguyen pham you can also find scoops like this at restaurant supply stores.
Try Walmart or a dollar store
@@pharaoh6977 thank you
Awesome video going to try this today or tomorrow! So this can be used in baths? What about infusing almond oil? What herbs to you suggest?
Is the infused oil safe to use on skin?
Of course. Very relaxing too
Curious as to what else it can be used for?
Hello :) I've seen some videos where a Vitamin E capsule is added. Is adding Vitamin E an unnecessary step?
Hi Marilyn, you could absolutely add a capsule of vitamin E to the recipe in order to get the extra benefits of this vitamin, but it definitely isn't required, nor will it change the feel or smell of the oil.
Thank you very much for getting back to me :) So the Vitamin E won't aid in preventing the oil from going rancid?
Salt absorbs any water that remains in the lavender buds (we use fresh lavender.) If you use completely dry lavender you can skip the salt if you prefer.
Why do you put the salt in it?
Panayiota Bowman it preserves the oil for longer storage and keeps the oil from going rancid
