I chose 3 for mine, but I ended up reading 6 different books, but the 2 that were in my jar I literally DNFd but okay whatever... lol

I'm currently reading First Lie Wins and listening to some autobiographies on Libby (Michelle Obama's and Tom Felton's). I haven't decided what's next, but maybe I'll choose an Emily Henry also and read People We Meet on Vacation! That or Just for the Summer. ☀️

I loved Beach Read just like you! & also, Me Before You is so good!! 5 ⭐️ read for me. I saw the movie first as well.

My favorite from April was Beach Read 🥰 and my favorite from May was Lessons in Chemistry, even though I rated it 3 stars. Still cute!!

I listened to the audiobook for Caraval so I think I would have had a harder time kind of understanding what’s going on if I just read it you know what I mean??? Haha! I do love the world though! I’m finishing the Caraval series before I jump into Once Upon a Broken Heart!

I'm planning to finish Spare hopefully, read The Women by Kristin Hannah, and then deciding between a couple audiobooks but probably will do both - The Woman in Cabin 10 and Eleanor Oliphant is completely fine.

13:18 I definitely agree that you have more fantasy to compare to and that's probably a big part of it!! It was my first fantasy outside of Harry Potter so I think I was just so excited to be in a fantasy world again 😍 I actually gave it a 4 star on Goodreads. I agree with it being a lot of world building and I was so used to all the new characters and action from the first book that this one just was a bit slower. I will be interested to see how I feel as each new book comes out!

I was the same way when I was in one of my local Chapters-Indigo stores here in Vancouver BC Canada. And I was literally standing next to a couple girls bad mouthing Lucy Score. When I was trying to decide on which books of hers I was going to buy (she was a new author to me at the time. But I was meeting her a couple weeks later back in September. I was like thinking that these girls better stay out of the Metrotown local as that was where her signing was) Moral of the story. LOVE Lucy's books and own pretty much a dozen of her books already❤❤❤
