Great cars these, I have the pre face lift model same as yours on an 03 plate. Mine has no damage or rust and on 186’000 miles. It drives lovely and definitely built to last. I’ve had it 7 and half years 👍🏻
@@markt2014 thanks yes the mondeo is a great car have you noticed how thick the metal is compared to a new car its shocking 😳. I hope that you enjoy your mondeo for many years to come thanks for watching 👀
@@ColsClassicCars-24 No I have no idea what the metal is like compared to a new car. Are you talking about underneath or general bodywork? I know the air conditioning is amazing and gets super ice cold and is much better than newer cars that I’ve been a passenger in. My motor is a daily driver but always gets serviced every year and anything that crops up gets fixed asap. I enjoy using this car for work/private use and so comfortable in the leather seats.
What was your number one highlight of the whole festival? What was the most expensive car there?

Looks like there were more cars there than people. At least it wasn’t raining. Would have been nice to hear what you were saying about each vehicle you looked at. A very broad range of vehicles. Which one was your favourite?

I didn't know there was such thing as tyre paint. My alloys will need doing at some point. I wouldn't attempt to do then. I am nowhere as handy as you. I remember that you did an amazing job on the Beetle alloy wheels.
Thanks yes tyre paint from ebay or Halfords it just gives the wheels that added fresh look . You should try it on an old wheel until you feel confident

No to be honest its not in good shape underneath was my lads now sold off properly to the cola factory to turn into cans 👍
So you found a replacement for the Mini? Is she happy with it?
Oh yes I need to do a couple of jobs on it and order a couple of parts then it will be sweet it runs and drives well but it needs to go to the next level

Yes its now 2300 so they are on the up a modern classic still going to stick with the big red for now 😀

Are the wind deflectors on the windows any good? Better with or without them? I always thought about getting some, but they aren't cheap.
It came with the wind deflectors they are great fresh air in without being blown and they keep the rain out if you open the window a little.
@@ColsClassicCars-24 I might get some, but for the front windows only. Too expensive to get both sets.
You would of thought they would be cheap I can't believe how expensive they are and mine are all ford's you could get away with just the drivers window

To expensive for me that car the most I've ever paid for a car is 2k

No most have Mercedes I like to drive the old cars as they keep on going and are cheap

No but I've had 3 mk3 mondeos and one mk4 great cars and built well
@@ColsClassicCars-24 Is there any cars you haven't had lol 😂 I know you seem to like Ford a lot. I liked the Ford car they used in Robocop..... Very similar to the Mondeo. I also liked the Ford Cosworths. Did you have one of those?
Yes I've had a lot of ford's they are cheap to buy and cheP to fix ive had other cars but they don't seem that well built compared to ford or their engineers have built them strange compared to ford 🤔

They are both TVR they where made in Blackpool

Yes they ate the last ones they made the factory went in the 2000s I think 🤔
@@ColsClassicCars-24 I think people were having lots of problems with them, plus you could get much better cars around the same price as these. But they are classics now.
