I know why Eli Gilman isn’t getting 20+ touches a game. It’s because Hauck tries to mold his team to fit his scheme rather than adapting the scheme to fit his players' strengths. It’s like every season we are watching a monkey in Missoula trying to smash a square peg into a round hole. LIke with last season, when he refused to make the obvious choice and just stick with McDowell at quarterback until that embarrassment at NAU forced his hand. As a vandal fan im glad the vandals are playing Montana on September 27th next year because it’s unlikely Hauck will have made the obvious adjustments that early in the season.
