You're getting a lot more in rhythm with the game loop, looking a lot smoother. I highly, highly recommend checking into the flame belch cause that armor is key in those close encounters.
Find the Archvile - it's spawning the stuff in (the frozen red statues) he'll be the big skinny guy that's often on fire. The flame thrower makes enemies throw out armor even before they die, it can be helpful when you're surrounded.
Opening the fight with a meathook? Brother, that's my kind of balls. The big shotgun and the balista are best to stun him. Once stunned, switch to the opposite and hit him while he's staggered. Also the more plasma and rounds you put into his shield, the more he puts out the ghost dogs. You're doing great.
Difficulty was improved in patches i think. I’ve played when game was released and even hard mode was too easy. I’m playing it again and hard is indeed hard - encounter face to face with Terminator will be fatal.
Nice encounter. Try using the chainsaw or glory kills on trash mobs when you get low on health, you usually get a heal up after and the animations give you a few frames where you're basically invincible.
awww dont run away in doom eternal 😂 also hitting the marauder with ssg will stagger him and does good damage
