Yes, vegetable-tanned leather will be easier to skive, so I’m showing how I skive chrome-tanned leather. In the video, I do it slowly so that beginners can clearly see the technique. Thank you for your comment! I have been working with long nails for many years, and they are not a problem for me. They can occasionally get in the way, but I always find ways to work carefully and with attention to detail 😌😌
