ストーリー、システム、CG（当時としては）、音楽 全てが最高だった 今のスクエニには絶対に出せないよなぁ・・・
ある日、ファミ通を購入してページをめくるとフルート演奏者の記事が掲載されてた。 「ドイツに音楽留学してました。ゲーム音楽なんて音楽を知らない素人が作ってると思ってた」 「ある日寮に帰ると同じ留学生の香港人がFF6をプレイしてた。オペラ座のイベントだった」 「あれ？これ音楽というものを理解してる人の曲だ」 「それから私はFFの音楽を聴き入った」 「留学を終え、植松さんに作曲依頼をしました。おそらく多忙で無茶だったかと・・・」 「素晴らしい曲を提供していただきありがとうございます」 次のページをめくると植松伸夫の１ページコラムの記事が掲載されてた。 「マジモンの演奏者から作曲依頼がきた」 「そんな高尚な方からなんて・・・鴨のオレンジソースとか食べてる人じゃないの？」 「なんとか曲を提供できました」 みたいな記事が掲載されてたの憶えてます。 提供する曲の没曲が「ザナルカンドにて」だったのですね。 私は「ザナルカンドにて」を聴くたびに「鴨のオレンジソース」という単語が思い浮かびます。 鴨のオレンジソースなんざ食べたことないけどね！

You've never experienced a Distant Worlds performance lol. It's a meeting of nostalgia and appreciation for music that defined many of our lives growing up. They absolutely *Love* hearing our enthusiasm when recognizing the introduction of a song. Going to my 5th performance next week!

You should go and experience it. This is for nerds, not regular orchestra
I admit that it’s annoying during an orchestra, but to be fair, this song is played as an encore. It’s reasonable for people to clap or cheer at the start
