Great vid! Loved the ending at 3/4 speed (the one part i can understand)
well done..
Buena interpretación : )
Very nice rendition Greg. One of my all time favorite songs and you nailed it!
Nice jam
Thank you
I think it's a Hohner Pianet. You can kind of make it out in the Midnight Special live performance from 1973. It's got that thin sound. The Wurlitzer is a much thicker sound. Great tutorial, thanks!
This is so cool!
Thank you so much ! I picked up so much more from yours than the others I've been watching and trying to learn from. You're a natural teacher. I'll be watching many more of your videos.
Totally amazing!!!…how many months were you working on that?
A couple weeks probably
@@gregjacksmusic Wow!!!...I'm 73 so I guess I have an excuse😀
No te entendí una mierda
Awesome job brother! Thank you SO much for taking the time. Spot on!
Thank you so much❤❤❤❤
I'm re-learning this one. My fingers aren't as coordinated as yours, so I'll probably do substitutions here and there. You do a fantastic job, so I'll catch the tips from this video. Looking forward, Greg!
Whoah!!!!! It's been awhile since I've been completely blown away with something and congratulations my man..... YOU just blew my mind with this......... It's like........ Almost "Better" than Michael.......... No... I'm serious... it's a true FRESH version of one of my all time favs!!! You're Amazing man!!!!!!
Best tutorial ion this I found, thank you
Perfect! Thank you!
Great performance indeed. ❤❤
Dude you are a legend! Thank you for this. Made learning this great song so much easier.
Nice!
OMG ! Amazing!! Thanks to this vídeo , I’m back to my piano …!!! ❤❤❤❤🙏🏻🙏🏻
That's dope... This angle and view is kinda of hard to see the sequence keys
Very helpful, many thanks
You’re a great player. So impressed.
Thanks For your tutorial,,, so I Can learn and Play this song easily,,, Thanks Bro,,, From Jakarta Indonesia
Very informative, thank you. I'm 74, (rapidly closing in on 75,) so I guess you can teach an old dog new tricks.
Fine tutorial Gregjack, Don"t know why I learnt it in D , maybe the folkie version Bob Dylan, et al, but this sounds better. Hope you made it thru quarantine
I’m 73 years old and rediscovered my love for keyboards thanks to you’re great rising sun tutorial. I did want to ask your help on a left hand piece I saw on this song. The name of the You Tube video is House of the Rising Sun by Albert. If you have a chance to look at it I would appreciate your input on the chords being used. Thanks again Gary
What brand of keyboard are you using ? Sounds excellent. I'm looking to upgrade . So I would appreciate your help. Thank you. Great job on your tutorials. I've really enjoyed learning from you.
At the time of this video I was using a Yamaha CP4. But I have since upgraded to the CK88 which I much prefer
That's great for the left hand, 'cause I'm using it to play bass! And singing., but out of Dm because of my vocal range. Thanks, though, great stuff.
You are a genius- this is an extremely helpful video set- thank you!
Jah
Great job!!! This track is one of the best from SD...Disco beat with bluesy jazzy chords and solos.
I doubt if I could master the organ solo.. but I am grateful for this.. I'm playing this in Em... easier to sing. I really wanted to know the figure at the end of the riff 2x G /cfg | whereas the the end or turnaround it's D /cdg (on the 5th in the bass!!
the best to learn
Thank you so much for these tutorials!! It brings me a lot of joy to be able to play this song now.
super helpful mnemonics, thanks dude 🎉😊
Great - thanks
Jeff Porcaro drums on a majority of the Yacht Rock songs!
Great voice. Could do some Van Morrison.
I believe there is a YC on some of Miles Davis' albums. I think Sly Stone used them on stage occasionally.
Thank you for the heads up 🙂
You're the best man 💗
Wow! You climax in the solo? COOL!
:')
thank you
took 9 days to get the main rhythm down!
one of my favorite solos of all time. loving yours and Darius' Steely Dan stuff, teaching me a lot.
Thank you so much for this tutorial! I am enjoying your style of teaching. 😊
your amazing thank you.
