This beautiful Howard Hill longbow reminds me of my first longbow in 1960, I cannot remember the brand name, but I remember the green glass backing . There is not a day in the week when I do not come to full draw or send arrows down range. 🎯

So I'm curious about how old is "old" for a Hill bow. I've got a Howard Hill big 5 that I bought from a friend 18 years ago. It does have specs, 66 @28. I know he got it as a teenager, finding it leaning in the milk house of an old barn, and he's almost 60, so 40 years ago it was an "old" bow then. But I've hunted with this thing on and off for years. I've killed 13 deer with it. It's my nasty weather bow when I don't want to get my rawhide backed self bow wet. It seems totally indestructible. I killed another doe with it just this last month. How "old" is so old it's dangerous?...... and yea, dang ......I didn't know they'd sell that high.
