the road signs do not point towards train lines, they point towards the road to take to the cities, you had 2 signs, and at the place where you were looking where the marker was supposed to be you see a road going south intersecting a highway, the highway goes east-west. going east you get to eindhoven, and thereyou can go north on the highway towards Den Bosch/'s Hertogenbosch.

Tried to play this as a German and it made me so angry, that everything in this town was labelled with "Red Car Town", until it revealed the actual position and there is a town called Redcar?!

The spelling of Teesside anecdote made me laugh. I'm from there (and have drank in the plimsoll line) and we don't half get precious about the spelling for some reason 😂

Game 1: 24, 817. I THINK my highest Geoguessr score ever. Very happy with that. A couple of gimmes though. Knowing Blackheath and Northfield 9I'm based in Birmingham) certainly helped with the final two. I WAS convinced that Aylesbury was up North for a LONG time. Game 2: 24, 390. Beginning to think only Birmingham and London are in this map! Game 3: 23, 477 First round and I can't even find the right town. I think I peaked early today. Still, three fairly solid rounds. Clearly pubs are easier than stadia. Not sure what that says about me.

You seem to be better with Weatherspoons than stadiums 😂 hmm. Funny about Newmarket. You had the cursor on it 3 times without noticing it but I know it easier when you are just watching 😊

I've been to 3 of these actual places (Manchester, Xscape and Whitby) and recognised the Spoons in all 3 places, though I've only been to 2 of them. In fact, my mum was literally only on about The Angel in Whitby a couple of hours ago! The Winter Seam is the most local one to me (I live in Leeds) and one I've been in a few times. I was only at the shopping part next to Xscape (Junction 32 Outlet Village) 2 weeks ago, though I didn't visit the Spoons on that occasion unfortunately!

Don't worry about it Dan even us locals in the Black Country can't even agree on where it begins and ends. I lived abroad for over tens years as a kid, which means I never developed the thick accent I sound more Brummie. I was forever being asked what part of Birmingham I was from when I was on the taxis.

Tilbury is famous for one of the largest container ports in the UK and is on the Thames.

The Blackpool one was frustrating when you recognise it yourself in seconds and the top of the Tower is right there! I was screaming Blackpool at the screen! I did the same for Hebden Bridge and Fleetwood (I've only been to the latter despite living in West Yorkshire). You miss such obvious stuff on these and it's so frustrating, yet I still watch so you're obviously doing something right haha!

Got to be JJB for me, had a shopping park near my home with JJB, comet, and Borders, all gone now

Spent the March in UK, near Richmond in Kingston and LOVED the park, this area is just beautiful

That was a fun map tbf, shame Blackpool was bugged, got it straight away cause my Dad and I went to a festival there a few years ago and had to go into that square every day to enter the venue

You missed an obvious clue in the Conwy round, on the side of a building there was a sign pointing towards Bangor which meant it had to have been close. Also you missed a sign saying Nuneaton on the Hinckley round Cool vid tho very entertaining

I have stood in those spots in blackpool, fleetwood and hebden bridge doezens of times and it was sooooooooo infuriating to watch you so calmly get them completley wrong. I also got angry when you couldnt pin point lancaster on the map, like it is the county town of lancashire and you were convinced it should be in grater manchester....

Question of the video feels easy enough to me. Woolies. Round 1 - 24,535 Whiffed on the last one, nearby town had a road with the same name. Round 2 - 24,588 Saw a town on a bus - it was the wrong bloody one! Round 3 - 24,962 That final street was a nightmare
