On September 7, 2021, we introduced this distinctive velvet leaf Anthurium with veins that appear to glow chartreuse (yellow-green). They contrast handsomely against this hybrid's namesake dark leaves that evolve from red-brown to darker shades of maroon.
When pictured alongside most Anthurium magnificum or crystallinum hybrids, ‘Dark & Handsome’ maturing leaves reflect violet-blue hues. The leaf’s color sheen matures to a leathery brown; resembling a well-worn flight jacket!
