you rarely nowadays find people who speak realistically. your advice is applicable compared to everyone trying to start their own business.
Thanks! Glad you found value

Can see the snow capped mountains from Point St George beach now. Fun to head up hill and look back on the coast. Clip kinda reminds me of that.
Sounds fun! Yes some of the clips actually look cool with where the sun was when I recorded
Financial advice from yet another bloke who can't afford an office ... 😂😂
Have you created content before? It’s more important to do, than for it to be perfect conditions
@Dollar_Discipline dudes still living with mom.. sitting outside in their cars.. literally 100's of you guys . And it's not even a Ferrari or something impressive. Your content is the same as every other guys content sitting in a car.. if you want to make real content you have to be showing the matrix .. at least show the analytics.. all these mushroom content creators die when the market turns and you can't explain why
Have a couple credit cards but always carry a zero balance. Getting out of debt was one of the best decisions we ever made.
I like that, I do the same. So happy to hear you’re debt free! What’s the next financial goal you’re working on?
@@Dollar_Discipline Would like to continue building out my dividend portfolio with value names that are on a discount. Also entertaining the idea of owning a rental property. Also, keep reinvesting Treasury Coupons into new Bonds or Notes.

Better in a vacuum, but not when emotions are accounted for.
Absolutely agree! That’s why I like people weighing the options between Avalanche and Snowball methods. Do you prefer the money or the mental/emotional side?
@@Dollar_Discipline What I prefer doesn't matter. It is a fact that more people quit doing the "avalanche" method, as opposed to the "snowball" method. Even though the snowball is less efficient, it has a higher success rate and I would argue on average it takes less time, and even costs the average person less money.
The Avalanche will almost always be faster and cheaper because it’s attacking the interest. But agree that snowball likely has the higher success rate
@@Dollar_Discipline no, I don't think it would be. Due to emotions and having the dopamine hit of getting rid of the smallest debt, the average person will have a further heightened motivation, which will allow them to likely outpace their lost gains relative to the debt avalanche
This is... a Ponzi Scheme. Like, by definition
Paying down debt? 🤔
Tactical dot.
Great videos bro keep it up
Appreciate you, Zander!
It's great you're teaching others how to become debt free and manage their finances better. Not easy giving up some of the wants to reach a goal, but it does literally pay off in the end.
Agree it’s not easy to give up on stuff, but if you want better outputs (like debt free) you have to change your inputs. Because just continuing what got you to this point won’t take you to the next point you want to go
thank you kind sir. unfortunately i am not from usa so it won’t work
Do you mean the debt payment calculator? Or works with any currency, any country. You just plug and play your total debt, interest %, minimum payments. Those should be pretty universal
😊😊
😀🫡
Whata holding me back? I"m not allowed to print my own extra 100-200 dollar a month 😂
😂😂 you haven’t bought the money printer yet???
@@Dollar_Discipline meh
how would you go about asking for a pay rise? ive been at my company for over a year and ive been trying to think of different ways i can go about asking for said pay rise.
Think about ways you can either make the company more revenue, save the company more money, or find a process that sucks that you can be responsible for and improve it. Basically I always asked myself what the role above me would be doing, and find ways to do some of those tasks. In my experience, I got the promotion AFTER I was doing the job first to prove my worth. OR you could just ask your boss about what a growth plan would look like (come to the convo with some ideas yourself). If the company isn’t willing to put you on a growth path it’s time to go
@ thank you very much for the response, i feel ive shown sufficient initiative from being a new employee to the second most valuable on the factory floor in just 1 year, learning everything i could. i dont think im valued as much as i should be. i think ill instigate a conversation with my manager about a said growth plan and how i can be more valuable to the company and depending on the response, ill keep working hard for a decent wage or look for a new job. thanks heaps!
Love that! Go get your worth
Vote democratic Kamala Harris 💙💙💙💙

I agree, the choice is clear. That’s why I’m voting for myself!
The link to the template doesn’t work😢😢
So sorry, where did you you grab it from? The correct link is below (YT doesn’t allow links in Shorts comments so you’ll have to copy/paste) www.investingamateur.com/finance-level-up-kit
Good analogy. Like to keep the bulk of our emergency fund in 4 week T-Bills as it's only taxed Federally. But also keep some funds outside the bank in the form of cash, Gold & Silver.
Awesome! Always good to have a backup plan!
This is pretty awesome dude! Thanks for sharing this
Glad you enjoyed!
Wow! Great explaned! Where can i find that file?
Glad you found value! RUclips doesn’t allow clickable links in the shorts comments but here it is! (Just copy/paste into browser) www.investingamateur.com/finance-level-up-kit
I am a banker and believe me he is right. Stay away from credit cards. They r very very few ppl who know how to manage credit card and if u think u r one of them then u are wrong, u r not. Stay away from credit cards. I have been working in banking for the past 20 years and this is literally what I do day in day out. I manage a team of 30 ppl selling credit cards and loans.
Personally like dividend investing. Like buying them while they're cheap and the yield is up. Like CVX, MO, PFE, O, UPS and several others.
Dividends are good 👍🏻 They just take a lot of time and money to develop into anything significant, and I don’t want people to think dividends are going to save them now from living paycheck to paycheck (I’ve worked with a couple people who had this mindset)
Me too
💪🏻
I know. No one cares. But it makes a difference to me. I need to be helping my son. And have done since day 1. And now i can't feed myself
As a dad myself, I totally understand the idea of putting your kids first. Admirable. As for your finances, you are the one who can correct your situation, which is the most exciting part! So it sounds like you’ve already reduced expenses as much as you can. Have you tried increasing your income? Asking for raises, looking for better opportunities, learning new skills to make yourself more valuable
@Dollar_Discipline I have to do for them. Their time to take care of me is coming. And I can't teach my boys. If she hiding from. Me. She doesn't realize if they're not taught. She will need help to. So. I'm not worried about it. She has them. And at the end she will see what's been said and realize what I mean. Her loss not mine
Can't see him. Buy I can't convert with him on phone. Just show how selfish and controlling she is. Cause she don't get her perfect way. Well whooopy dung pile. Still her loss
Good very good for your sake I hope YOU actually did it . Good.
You hope I did what?
Awesome
Glad you got value!
Really great anology. I would take it even further, that its everytime you die in game and having a emergency savings allows you to respawn and try again. Like saving lives in mario
Yes that’s great! Thanks for the addition
Shave bro
lol thanks for the feedback
This is sound advice for like 5% of Americans because in reality those are all that has any leftover money
You don’t need to have money to start a side hustle, or a passive income thing
@@Dollar_Discipline riiiiiiight.
People are doing it. I started this with $0. I still have a 9-5 and work on this at night time. What skill do you have that you think you are better at than most people? People are selling info and skills to other people, but you just have to take action on it
Well here in reality nobody has any leftover money.
Why don’t you feel like you have any leftover money? Are you budgeting? Are you working on increasing your income, reducing expenses, or both?
Good work building an educational channel! =)
I appreciate that! Glad you’re finding value 👍🏻
=)
my goal is stop being addicted so i can safe a buck smh, so just dont do it yeah
Thanks for sharing that Jimmy. Sounds like you’re in a spot where you know you have a problem, and you have a goal to start saving I want to help you with the financial aspect (for free). If you have Instagram, feel free to reach out 👍🏻
staying organized in order to not double pay a loan is smart for sure, subbed!
Glad you found value! If you share finances, you HAVE to be on the same page 👍🏻
@@Dollar_Discipline I agree. I make financial videos too. Would love to have you follow along my journey!
I tried this with my 6-year-old recently, He still picks one now not two later 🫣 I even tried with screen time, if he waits he can get more time on the switch but he chose to have it now. So I'm not sure if it's a time developmental thing or if he just doesn't get it 🤣
😂😂 I love that you’re teaching him stuff like that! I’m sure it’s a time thing, but it’s great to get him thinking about this! If more people waited for the rewards, the payout, etc. they would be wayyy better off in the long run
I smell bull. 50 a month for 40 months is $2k $3k +$2k = $5k You said the account has $13k. Are you telling me that your bank gives you an annual %50 interest on your savings?! Even an investment portfolio won't make %50 annually!
Initial deposit of $3k, plus any random bday $, holiday gift money. And it’s an investing fund not a bank If I could add screenshots here I would 🤷🏻♂️
Compound interest is the eighth wonder of the world. He who understands it, earns it. He who doesn't, pays it.
Shout it from the rooftops 🗣️
=)
😬
Wow thank you.
Happy it helped, Maurice!
I stopped listening when the blinker was turned off. It was really helping me focus.
Come for the personal finance, stay for the blinker 😂
@@Dollar_Discipline that's what I was thinking! I was like why isn't any advice sticking. Now I know. It's blinker deficient.
Wow very helpful Started watching ur vids
So happy to hear it was helpful! What’s the financial goal you’re working towards right now?
