No I am not concerned, will they take away jobs? Yes, the tedious repetitive jobs, like wrenching endless bolts on an assembly line 24/7, bricklaying, or cooking dinner or doing your laundry, drying, ironing, folding and sorting them in to everyones closet, vacuming, dusting and cleaning, washing windows,....And yeah I hear you say what about the human personell that did all that? They will have more time to study, to arts, hobbies and skil amounting still way over the capabilities that these robots can for now, I know it sounds cruel to take those jobs away but think of it from this angle: - You want to waste your life on an assembly line 24/7/365? - You want to break your back laying bricks and digging ditches for the rest of your life? End up at an old age with reumatism and hernias? - You want to cook and clean like a maid for a different family than yours? And all that for minimum wages? They are slave jobs, jobs you do because your skills never reached higher because you didn't have time to finish highschool or lacked the motivation at that particular time, as a middleaged bricklayer how he likes his job and he will tell you he should have stayed in school, those jobs are nothing but regrets and we do them because the world needs them and they are cheap because the world does not want to pay you a fair wage, Imagine those robots doing those jobs not like taking away yours but rather as, giving you time to level up with the rest of us, you want to be an engineer? You want to be a painter? A dancer? a doctor? A high functioning job paying 6 figures? You want to do those demanding jobs and have the security that your clothes are washed, dried and neatly folded and that dinner awaits you in a clean house, where you can just go to the gym, watch a movie, play with your children, walk your dog, do something creative and go in to a bed that was made with clean blankets? Waking up well rested, greeted with your favourite warm beverage? and go off to work with a smile on your face, knowing that these tedious, boring mindnumbing jobs are lifted from you, so you can give 100% to YOUR ACTUAL tasks, hobbies, family? Because that is the future I want for everyone, no more slaves, no more housewives or maids, butlers or cleaning ladies, no more nurses doing maid jobs like making beds, but providing actual medical care for the sick and elderly, leave those nasty jobs for the robots, devote your time on what you really want and turn that in to a job, give that job to an AI or a robot that work for free and you can go meditate or do fun stuff and still get payed, because the work is being done
