Dyeing a crochet flower with paint?!
Let it snow.
That is really neat. I like the singed edges. I think the fern is my favorite, too. ❤
Beautiful
@@PsychoPlantLady thank you!
Well done. Keep up with these great videos.
@@Youngonce01 thanks I will!
"Can you tell these sre recycled?" - Yes, yes we can.
Lol. Yeah, it could be better, but that's part of why I used the dye to help hide the imperfect color. Other than that I think it looks great.
@naomiInkwell199 I didn't say it looked bad. You asked if we could tell it's recycled. It's a teacup filled with wax. Obviously it's recycled.
These are so clever. This is an amazing idea for someone selling candles at the farmer's market. I bet there would sell like crazy at holiday time.
Thank you! I have made some for a winter market, and they did really well!
This turned out so well! So much recycling and reusing -- and it is so pretty!
@@HillaryMoore thank you! It doesn’t even feel like it’s recycling lol.
Anything but the iridescent blue antique bowl! Broke my heart!
@@patriciacrozier7624 I almost didn’t do it, but I really wanted to see plants in it😅
I think that's uranium glass bro do NOT break that 😭
I didn't even think of that! now need to go check😳 edit: all good! Thankfully I have a black light and could check quickly
😂😂 grab the dogs face 😂😂
I cannot wait to see this hanging. ☺
@@HillaryMoore definitely! at least to see if it holds properly lol.
Would you please use gloves? Please
@@jodoumbia4851 I understand where you’re coming from, but when I work with my hands I usually need to feel what I’m doing and if I wear gloves can’t do that. I’m always careful and when it’s absolutely necessary I’ll wear them but it’s not my favorite lol.
Sorry,i don't get it. Too dark and what is purpose
@@scarymary7958 It’s just a fun way to show all my plants. I was trying to work with the natural light but I’ll try to make it brighter next time.
Would you guys want more like this?
First.🎉🎉🎉
@@Youngonce01 😂 Thank you!
@@naomiInkwell199 You are welcome.
Even more spider babies on the way - congratulations!!
@@HillaryMoore thanks, I’m a proud spider mom. lol.
I hope we get an update in a week or two.
@@HillaryMoore maybe…🤔
Congratulations on the 64 subscribers.
Thank you so much!
I hope the willow water works. It will be hard not to check on the roots. I know it should be easy enough to tell by looking at the leaves, but that is not the same thing. 😊
I know, right!
Love music.pls demonstrate how you created drainage holes.suggest you begin bonsai plants and trees. Also would like to see plants from side view or staged on book shelves tables etc. Great job naomi.
I actually made a video on putting in the drainage holes. Since this is the first year I've had plants do more than just survive over winter I'll have to see how this winter goes before getting a bonsai tree. I think I have to make a "stage" show off my plants now that I'm do more plant content lol.
Simple but effective. Not much effort needed.
nice 👍
Hi there, my favorite plant aloe vera.
They're definitely one of my favorites.
Hi you may have said it but is there a name on the drill bits do you find them in local hardware store? Thank you
I don’t remember the name, but I got them from Amazon and I do have it linked.
Thanks for a great video. What type of bits did you use?
Diamond drill bits, off of Amazon. I have them linked in the description.

I've been doing no hole planting in clear glass, I put a couple inches of clay pellets on the bottom then use soil, I love the way they are looking.
I have been wanting to try leca for awhile, but mostly for a more airy soil and for propagating. I have put rocks and bark in the bottom of planters that don’t have drainage holes, but I know you have to be careful with that.
What do you put under those assortment of dishes to catch the water? How come so many decorative ceramic planters have no drain holes?
I just use a saucer or a shallow storage container to catch the water, but they don’t live in there, since about half of my plants don’t like being wet all the time. I think the reason some cute planters don’t have holes is they’re just for looking cute and not functional, but you can hide the actual pot inside. So, just do what works for you.
Aloha! While I'm too much of a 'purist' (not putting holes in glassware), I thoroughly enjoyed watching the process. Thanks much for sharing, and I look forward to seeing what you create from these seemingly "random" items! 😊
Thank you! I totally get not wanting to put holes in some of them. when I picked these out I tried not getting ones that looked like they were in a set or like it would be complete sacrilege to change lol.
I just love finding new ways to upcycle and flip thrifted finds, this is a stellar way to repurpose old dinnerware!! I'm always on the lookout for cute vases and pots to hide my nursery pots, but now I'll certainly be looking in the dish isle 🙌🩷 you did a fabulous job
Thank you so much!❤️
First!!🎉
These days almost everybody uses silly music in the background (?) loud. Annoying, to say the least.
I am trying to find the sweet spot for the volume level, but, I don’t think silence is the majority preference.
@@naomiInkwell199 I didn't ask for silence. You can choose better music than the mindless ones, and as you said the right volume level.
@@samuilc8000 what music would you suggest?
@@naomiInkwell199 It is your channel so you do whatever you like. As you have your choice as the uploader, I do have mine also as a watcher, though. I do like things that stand out, not one in the crowd.
what's added in water ????
Nothing, I use rain water so there might be something from that, but it’s just filtering through the soil.
They look pretty happy - hopefully they will continue to grow and stay happy.
Same!
This idea is so creative & cute! Love it. Makes me want to make one. :) Thanks for commenting on my short appreciate the plant ID going to check it out.
Enjoyed the plant tour.please consider bonsai. You obviously have a green thumb and lots of patience and bonsia would be a great challenge and satisfying hobby.
I have thought about trying bonsai, maybe in the future.
3 like thank you very good beautiful 👍🔔
Thanks!
Anxious to see flowers, am not familiar with this butterfly pea. Also, would like to see your greenhouse. Please show updates on the growth of the plants.good job Naomi. Will you sell starts at your farmers market?
When it blooms I’m definitely sharing pictures! The greenhouse is just an old cheap one for aldi. I’ll definitely do another video on the butterfly peas once everything is chugging along nicely. I wish I was able to bring starters but I think it’s too late for this year, hopefully I will next year!
🔥Something is burning.🔥
Yes there is!
This smells amazing and the crackling of the wood wick *sigh* Thank you! ❤
So cute! I love that cup!
Thanks!
Me too!
I hate to tell you but I cannot tell what you are doing with the wire. Your hands and pliers are moving. You are saying petals 5 is the number..but girl..what are you doing to form these petals. Too fast..too far away.
I appreciate the feedback, I will take it into consideration.❤️
The plants look so happy now. 🥰 🪴
Thank you!
I like the watercolor paint better in theory but agree about the white showing. I don't like things leaving a residue on my hands but I do like the look of the powdered tempera better. Are you going to experiment more when you do the petals or just stick to one?
I plan to color the rest but I’ll have to make some extra in case of disaster lol.
Cool
I need a mouse in my pocket! I say we all.the.time. 😂
