Its great that you want to ride but for the opportunity , I traded up a Xt660x for a '23 MT09. I'm enjoying all those good things about this bike. I still miss that Xt tho😄

Been so windy out here lately and I can hear by the wind noise it was crazy windy, the day you went as well, very windy, the MT09 is not blown all over the road being so light? high speed, highway ? Good luck with the lottery :)

Cheers! I got the '23 Model MT09, then purchased the oem usb charger. The instructions are for pre 21 models so its really helpful to see how others are doing it for this model.

Enjoy the video, I like to go to Tecopa as well, by the hotsprings, (Not sure of you guys made it all the way or not) and come back to Vegas from Death Vally Junction, the road between that, and Pahrump is one of the best in our area, not too much fun crossing Pahrump, but worth it, makes the trip fairly long however.

My 2018 was just 2 dog bones to lower it by 15mm ,I bought genuine yamaha parts fir under £50,fitting was a pain as the 2 nuts are very awkward to get spanners on especially the top one as you can barely move the spanner to loosen and tighten it up,but worth it as I can now get both feet flat on the ground and I'm 6ft2,then to lower the front I put bike on center stand loosened the 6 bolts clamping forks and pumped the front end a bit at a time,used a steel ruler to get the 15mm lower on forks worked well.

I love that bike!! In my opinion it is more comfortable to ride than a full sport bike like the R1 etc... and still extremely fast and look amazing!!!
