Wow. So this is the DSU Wind Ensemble now. What has happened to this group? It used to be one of the finest wind ensembles in the Mid-South. Is this a dress rehearsal, or a full-on performance? Looks like you’re performing in the band hall, and not in one of the many auditoriums on campus. Was Jobe Hall not available? And you think hiring a new Christo-Fascist “interim” band director will help grow this program? RIP, DSU Wind Ensemble. RIP, DSU Bands.

No offense to these kids, as I do believe they are doing their best, but how sad it is that this once great band has been reduced to this. And now with the appointment of this new Christo-Fascist interim band director, DSU might as well scrap its band program. RIP, Marching Statesmen. (Former DSU color guard member and drum major here.)

It breaks my heart to see how one of the best marching college bands in the Mid-South has come to this. Where is the color guard? Where are the Delta Belles? As a former drum major of this band (1989), I know what I am talking about. 💔
