The Boat Chute at Lake Winnie "ORIGINAL"
I love these older flat rides. Trabant, Twister, Round up, Tilt-a-Whirl are some of the best flat rides!!!!!!! 👍😆
I think of the Sandlot when I see this ride.
que feo se be iche 😱😱😱
Omg this ride scared the shit out of me when I was like 3 years old and begged to get on it.
This ride was originally "The Polyp" at Kiddieland Amusement Park in Melrose Park Illinois. I miss this ride one of my all time favorites
It was restored and moved to Indiana Beach in Monticello, Indiana.
@@Super_Bros. I noticed that. My sister sent me the link. Well at least it is in Indiana and not in Georgia
@@ScottisTech It looks amazing; they did a top notch restoration to it.
this ride gives me a different view on rollercoaster now when I went on this ride
Does it feel like a cosster
Chulada de huracan
Indiana beach now has this ride and is restoring it.

Work on have hurricane ride easy
It's missing some of the scenery and decoration.I wish someone could make a video about the history of the Trabant ride. I'd love to know where it originated from, who invented it, and of all the manufacturers that made it (ex. Chance, Mack...). It's also interesting that it was named after a Soviet automobile or was it perhaps the other way around? I don't know but I'd love to find out.
Tiny Power Me too ! I want to know about the Trabant ride history too .
Tiny Power Me too want to know about the history of the Trabant ride
Tiny Power it really is a great ride. It was the first serious ride i ever went on to overcome my fear of any and all rides and let me tell you i screamed and shut my eyes tight and hung on for dear life. It really makes your stomach drop when coming down each time. Its like going down roller coaster drops over and over again. The one i went on was at Quassy Amusement Park but they've replaced with like a more modern version of it that has outward facing seats and everything and i'm sad because i liked the old style. I didn't see the point in getting rid of it only to put an updated version.
Super late, but Coaster College on RUclips has a series called Flat Rode of the Week. He and his production partner, Schwarzkopf Fanboy, are working during park season, but they've had an episode on the Trabant and its contemporaries in the pipeline for some time.
which is the original name os this ride? It's curious the numerous names: Trabant, wipeout, hully gully, ballerina...
me too
Puta la wea fome
OMG I forgot how fun this ride was
ChibiTwilight I still see it at festivals near where I am
I remember the first time I rode this. it was the summer of 1971, there was a summer fair held in notre dame schoolgrounds in Swarthmore, penna. they played rainy days and Mondays by the carpenters on the loudspeaker, so I always put the two of them together. thanks for posting this. bobby whitaker
I went on this at the fair so cool do not sit on the outside u will get smushed and your stomach will hurt
Krystal Spears when I was on the ride that some thing happen when I was on the hurricane too
Hit the Quan
Proof that this is a carnival ride and NOT a roller coaster. In you face Six Flags.
+Dingus I was a little disappointed when I saw one of my nearest Six Flags parks, who hasn't received a new roller coaster since 2008, was installing one of these. Though the Six Flags loops will be 72' which are supposedly bigger & taller than these carnival loops, of which I'm looking up their size. I'm sure they can't be much smaller. I won't be going on either one, giant or portable, because the continuous looping would probably make me dizzy. Since this isn't officially called a roller coaster, Six Flags St. Louis still hoovers at 9. I'd love to see them hit that nice round 10 mark.
Love this, I remember this when I was a kid in the 70's
Tremendous maneuvering airplane ride.
What carnival owns this ride ?
Tamara Wilson I think it is Family Attractions who owns it .
Looks like an orange colored Koi (Common) Carp, rather than a Goldfish.
I was tight when I first rode rode this I could barely move.
my first loop I ever went on im surprised nobody had a video of that night last year I screamed my head off cuz I kept thinking what if this or this happened wht if the thing or the belt came out upside down now im used to loop coasters dollywoods my fav theme park though going sometime next month :)

Little known fact. This coaster had a twin. It's twin sister, resided at "Fair Park" in Nashville TN from 1966 til the parks closure in the 90s. So the original design was actually "tested" in Nashville under the name of "Skyliner". These were the only two of there kind and now the Cannonball is the only one left.
i love this ride iv rode it 100 times
