I do not understand why some people have to compare dancers all the time. Alessandra Ferri was and is stille considered as one of the greatest female dancers of our times and justly so. There is not need to qualify Sylvie Guillem as a "robot", which seems at the very least an over-simplification. Only recently she played Manon at La Scala. I was there at the prmeière on January 27th and it was huge and highlyd eserved triumph and people were in tears from Guillem's interpretation.

@ernesto6643 Yo creo que lo de hacerlo a punta o media punta es intrascendente, lo que importa es el estilo y esos brazos que no cualquiera puede presumir de tener, como tampoco es común su linea, su belleza, su punta y muchas cosas más importantes. Incluso el balance final es intrascendente. Es solo un adorno, un guiño al público cubano quizá porque ella supo que le gustaba ese detallito.

También creo que no es solo el público cubano el que se emociona con facilidad. Miren a los japoneses que también aplauden como locos cada ronda de piqués o un salto. Los bailarines prefieren ese público que el de señores en trajes y pieles que van al ballet a lucir ropa como ocasión social. Es verdad que los cubanos a veces se pasan con la emoción,pero esa noche tenían razones para aplaudir mas porque fue una función inolvidable y Maximiliano y Alessandre estuvieron perfectos

Coincido contigo. Tantos ojos de profanos y coreógrafos no pueden estar equivocados. A mi, que me incluyo entre los primeros, simplemente me emociona porque no me parece de hielo como otras máquinitas de bailar de antes y después. Supongo que a Mc Millan y otros coreógrafos le interesarían otras cosas además
