Hi Julia! I just want to say thank you so much for making these videos! I've been working on a HUGE project for one of my non-swiftie friends so he can understand each of her albums and eras (we're both in college, so I thought it would be fun to put together an "Intro to Taylor Swift" course syllabus, with a course for each album), and these videos have been SO helpful!! I've been linking to each of your videos as part of the 'course materials' :) Thanks again, and I can't wait for the next installment!

Wow, Julia you are fantastic! 😍 I listened to Taylor in my early teens alot but never had that swiftie-sense to it. (Funfact you mentioned sparks flies was one of the cheesiest song ever written by TS and i agree but i loved that about it with 12 y.o. And listend to it 24/7 hahah) Through tiktok i discovered the eras tour and that she dropped Like 5 albums since i stopped listening … and over the past month, i wondered, why i stopped listening, because i loved rep and then i just didnt follow her along. Until you mention „Me!“ und oh my god, did i hate that song! 😂 I now remember being really excited about a knew Album After rep, because i loved it so much and it dropped at the right time for me as I was bullied from 2015-2018 I hated „me!“ so much that i didnt even listen to the rest of album, when it dropped😂 And then with the pandemic i discovered BTS and resonated with them so deep I didnt have time to see what other artists were up to But Know listening to folkmore I really should have, because this albums are masterpieces imo Thank you for that deep dive! I am excited about the following era videos! Also you mentioned that you think the theorys on tiktok are often way to easy and straight foward and i wondered if you could make an more in deepth „easter egg“ video, were you discuss that topic more Maybe with the ICDIWABH music video! I would really look forward to it! And one more thing: maybe you should add all the videos to a playlist of all the eras videos, so bing watching gets easier (and i think it also would be easier to find❤

Between the Grammy performance and the eras tour performance we have two separate rock versions of willow and I’m gutted we’ll probably never officially get it.

Where did you get the VMA You Belong With Me footage?

Haylors have spread a lot of misinformation. Taylor & Harry were NEVER seen out and about together in 2013 - 2015. The only times they were at the same place at the same time were at award shows, after parties, and a few events. Being at the same industry party doesn't mean they were there together or that they hooked up. There is a video of Taylor & Harry in a lobby, along with other people (Jan 2015). They were standing away from each other and Harry was talking to other people (not Taylor) before he left. Haylors like to think they were caught hooking up, but they were at a mutual friend's birthday party with dozens of other people. They weren't "together." Harry was dating Nadine Leopold at the time. Haylors CREATED an on/off/hooking up relationship based only from lyrics (in "Style" and other songs they ASSUME are about each other). There were never reports or rumors of Harry & Taylor ever being together after their breakup. NEVER. The only rumors were created by Haylors themselves. It's the same as Larries spreading rumors of Harry & Louis being "together." It was never true. The Haylor rumors are more believable because Harry & Taylor actually dated. It doesn't mean those rumors are true though. Other Swifties blindly believe these Haylor theories, and rumors get spread even more, creating a "known fact" that never even existed. People forget that 1D were on huge world tours during 2013, 2014 and 2015. They didn't have a lot of free time. Taylor had her own world tours in 2013 and 2015. They were rarely in the same cities at the same time. Harry dated Kendall Jenner and Nadine Leopold during 1D's off time from touring. Gary Lightbody tweeted on Nov 15, 2012, that he and Jacknife Lee wrote with Harry Styles. This means "Something Great" was written while Harry & Taylor were dating, not after they broke up. We don't really know if this song is about Taylor or if it's just a love song about no one particular. Harry has never confirmed who any of his songs are about. Harry has said he tends to write from experience, but he's never said all his songs are autobiographical.

Just finished binging all of these videos after this video was randomly recommended to me and they are genuinely some of the best taylor album video essays i've seen. Long-form content and taylor swift are my two favorite things and you married them perfectly in these videos. Can't wait for you to get into the TV's and midnights

I feel this is the in joke of Red's 'an indie rock album that's much cooler than mine'. Unfortunately, we are nearing the end... cry.

I honestly always thought I Knew You Were Trouble was about John Meyer. She straight up says “flew me to places I’ve never been, til you put me down” which sounds a lot like super man. I was so confused when I heard people thought it was about Harry.

I used to live in a very rural area, I have one vivid memory: So I am standing there, in the middle of nowhere, and I want you to picture the scenery- all around there is almost nothing, just some fields, farmlands, maybe a few meadows, and a forest, occasionally a single car passes by on the far away road - basically all is dead quiet, and nearly devoid of civilisation And then I hear a very faint "Booooys only want love if it's torture" from a local carpentry shop You really could not escape from Taylor in 2015 LMFAOO

I have to admit, Red is one of my least favorite albums of hers. I'm two years older than her so I didn't start liking Taylor until around 1989. She had to grow up a bit for me to relate to her. Out of her first 4 albums I think Speak Now is the best. While Red has some amazing songs on it, it's just a really weird album. Yes, All Too Well was ( one could argue it's not anymore but once was) her magnum opus, which is why I don' like All Too 10. It's too bloated and boring. Don't mess with perfection! I don't think I'll ever "get" Red, but I know a lot of you love it so I try to respect it for what it is.

Don’t know what it was for me but I loved Me and music video, “ like a rainbow with all of the colors baby doll when it comes to a lover“ was my favorite line. Our wedding was in March of 2019 and the colors were rainbow 🌈 with sunflowers 🌻 I felt so personally connected to the whole project with Lover basically becoming a wedding anthem. I couldn’t help but listen to it and feel super happy. Even nice to have a friend and paper rings. It was my honeymoon era and I felt so aligned.

I hope we don't gotta wait months for the folklore era!! I love your videos so much
