Wildcat is insanely overrated

Nothing against rides like Phobia or Zoomerang in their own right (and disclaimer, I haven't been to Lake Compounce in over 20 years since I was a kid and moved away, but my local parks now have some of the same rides), but it seems a little hard to get that excited about an off-the-shelf Intamin or Vakoma or whatever when you've got an S-tier bespoke coaster in the form of Boulder Dash RIGHT over there. Think I'd rather just queue for that multiple times tbh. I can ride the same thing as Phobia where I live now, I can only ride Boulder Dash here at Lake Compounce.

The Wildcat was designed back when the average person was physically fit and active and healthy. The average person today is none of those things.

the orange one looks intimidating but isnt that bad. Blue doesnt look extremely intimidating but it made my stomach drop like CRAZY not going backwards though. the beginning was the worse part

I didn't get a chance to go on the Wildcat but I went on the other 3. I would say the Boulder Dash was the most enjoyable, but the Zoomerang had the most adrenaline. I found it to be a little bit scarier than the Phobia.

I've never ridden Wildcat. Every time I'm there, I'm tempted and then I think, "It doesn't LOOK so bad, but I've heard everything about this coaster's reputation--am I that much of a credit hound? Do I like pain?" and I don't do it. There's plenty of stuff at Compounce that is actually fun. (I have also not ridden the kiddie coaster, but I don't think I'm allowed.) Boulder Dash has actually gotten pretty rough. But it's exciting enough that it's arguably worth it. I have to admit, though, the last time I went I had more fun riding Phobia, just because Boulder Dash was jackhammering so hard. It seems blasphemous to say that.

my left thigh caught a beating somewhere along the way on the wildcat, and a muscle in my back revolted for a short time! Rough ride from the back!

When I went on phobia I lost all my brain cells PLUS my stomach.

It's a shame the park did not decide to keep the Green Dragon roller coaster - it was electric powered.

Wild cat hurts so bad not gonna lie it just jerks and bounces everywhere but the Phobia roller coaster I went on it 3 times back to back to first time I got on it

Did anyone like the Boulder Dash? Does it hurt and or is it painful?? I am new to rollercoasters and would never try the WildCat or anything at all. But the Boulder Dash look more straight and flat. No twisting and no major drops.

I have never been so afraid of being on a coaster as when I was on Phobia during that part where you’re upside down and start sliding out of your seat. I actually had to check online to make sure that that was supposed to happen because in that moment, I was thoroughly convinced that I was going to fall to my death. Never Again! I liked the other ones, though!
