yoo H. I got a problem when loading templates in Carx. I Want a custom team sticker on my window for my FC. but its all messed up, the sticker it self is all mushyed around, and there's big white squares covering the windows of the car. If you have a quick solution to this i would appriciate it bro.
@@midtzzz5273 Try adding a fully black layer with 1% fill underneath every layer of your windows TEXTURE image.

@@SendingWishes Blender is what I use. There are thousands of tutorials on youtube for Blender.

so im trying to do a regular white super chrome, my tribal is loading onto the car with a thick white outline and are just black in the middle. and idea of a fix?
@@bzkshane If you're making the material image in Substance, try putting a black fill layer underneath everything else before exporting. What's happening is when you adjust the opacity and fill in Photoshop then export, Photoshop might be cropping out any empty space around the edge of the image, thus misaligning your materials in CarX. The black layer underneath should prevent that. 👍

For making the decals look higher resolution I've been using an image upscaler, it's not perfect but it could save you some time Noisy. Nice Video!

Hey bro, thanks for the tutorial, but I'm having problems, when I export from Unity to KNPP and open the game by reloading the custom part it simply doesn't appear there, I'm trying a bodykit for the GT86 (id 20) but nothing, I even tested it with a wheel and it didn't work either, can you help me?
@@vaaguinn Making parts for CarX is a little funny at the moment, they're updating the Unity engine.

Nope, this is the only way. Are they slightly off on the X axis? Some cars will have weird X locations, thanks CarX devs 🙄

Great beginner tut! With the glossmat.png, couldn't you just use the roughness texture exported (inverted obviously)? That would give you your different values for gloss. I assume for glass if you want text and stuff on that you would just make the glassmat have black where the textures are so the alpha is 0, instead of full transparent 1?

Not possible. You need the original 3d model to create a new knpp from it

Thanks! I don't really make bodykits though, I take models already made then edit them to fit. There will be dozens of car body shaping tutorials out there though
