Just purchased a move-in-ready home in Sun City Peachtree...closing May 28, 2024. Excited for my new home.

It’s the price stupid. Why would I pay half a million for a gross house with a brown kitchen and a yellow shower tile when I can buy a 4,000 sq ft new construction home in a clean white color? They keep saying location, but most of those location homes have homeless pushing carts and empty strip malls. Plus we all work from home anyway. Nobody wants to buy your nasty boomer home.

19 year resident of Hram. Own my house outright. Like all the other longtime Hiram residents, I cant wait to sell and move away. Our once quaint town has turned into an overcrowded crime and drug infested, dump. Even the sheriff is moving as soon as his current term is over. Just call us little Cobb county jr. Don't kid yourself. The wrong element is moving in in droves. Enjoy!

Good information! I know how difficult the probate process is in Georgia. I unfortunately had to endure this when my mother died. I would like to see a video on how to avoid probate when a spouse dies! My husband and I have titled all our assets and bank account (Joint tenants with right of survivorship) Also have beneficiaries designated. Will this avoid probate when one spouse dies. We both have a will in place. Thank you

I need to find an answer to this too. I have lived in West Cobb for 20 years and we are now seeing so many homeless pushing their carts or sleeping behind gas stations. I am even being asked for handouts at the grocery store, this is not the city I once knew. I hope to move somewhere a bit further out where I don’t have to see this many homeless. It’s heartbreaking.

I can’t wait for modern farmhouse to go out of style. It’s been around for over 12 years already, it’s time for grey and white to go out of style. Otherwise, it wouldn’t be a bad $350,000 house had the rates stayed at 6%. I’ll wait another year and get me a brick front home that doesn’t have this much white.

I remember back in 2008 our neighborhood houses went from $130,000 to being sold at $60,000 nine months later, almost overnight. Same thing happened. Investors were coming from all over the nation, the whole zip code was just renter after renter after renter. Five, six cars parked per driveway just like now. Now those same houses that sold for $60,000 in 2010 are $300,000. No thanks. I'll wait for those out of state buyers to shake out.
