I do wonder about these burners, they seem a lot of faff for the outcome. But yours did eventually work so that's OK then. Your experience adds to that old adage of wood heating you up three times, or in your case, four times - when you fell the tree, when you cut up the tree, when you make a Swedish burner and finally when you burn it.

I really thick these diesal heater are a game changer. Currently heating my basement super cheap and resalable just make sure install it right and will be safe heat for your median size living space...
