Done the Overland early July this year. Like to do many more trips as possible on the Overland red premium service.

Look at the filth all over the carriage broken and smashed by the train vandal these vandals should have been given jail time.

It looks like the state government had no intention of grade seperating this level crossing when it allowed funding for the station's upgrade. It's pretty clear to me that their priorities lie with metropolitan Melbourne when it comes to removing level crossings. How about building a raised railway line here with a new South Geelong Station?

Nice video mate. I was riding the 10:40am shuttle from flinders street to showgrounds as well as the last train from Showgrounds to flinders street whilst visiting the model railway exhibition in between. It was a good day.

My Mum took me on the "Show Train" from Flinders Station a few times back in the 60's - a red rattler

i use pakenham alot since i live in gippsland on the traralgon/bainsdale line so happy to hear the new pakenham station is finally open ive gone past a few times and seen the construction but not the final work but i got say is it just me or do all the raised stations look identical?

The color is not a glitch but a feature with the latest updates to the fleet. however the color glitch is caused when a coupled set have two different updates and the un-updated half interprets the code as text (in that case, {"color" : "hex code number [#00639 means green]" , "text": "Mordialloc"}). Basically telling the set to make a green background with text reading "Mordialloc" in front.

1979, l left my dad with friends on the side of the Murray and returned to Melb to work via the Vinelander. Having a sleeping cabin, l remember the early morning cup of tea along with a fresh copy of the The Sun as we rolled into Spencer Street. To this day, a very fond and longing memory of times lost and wanting. Thanks for the memories

Nice to see the standard gauge to Mildura finally in. Logically and strategically the next bit to standardise is Ouyen to Pinaroo. Do you now if that has made any progress?
