I revisit one of my favourite interviews with award-winning costume designer, Jany Temime, who so memorable gave us some of Daniel Craig's most iconic wardrobe choices for his tenure as 007. Many aeons ago, when most Bond channels were producing rather mundane top 10 Bond moment countdowns, or unboxing videos, I was producing content for The Bond Experience channel. Hi Edd! Oh that is wonderful to hear. So glad you are enjoying my films. It is ghettoing harder to squeeze in the opportunities to record them, and my cameraman/editor/wingman Gavin is now working as Head of Astronomy at Marlborough College, and will be taking a back seat for the foreseeable. But I will carry on filming as and when I can. I will be releasing a few videos that I filmed a while back for another channel, including a couple at Lock & Co, so keep an eye open for them. Oh don't get me wrong, I am a huge fan of the 308. It is arguably the prettier car, and with 4 more cylinders. I wouldn't say no if you tossed me the keys for me to keep. But for me it has to be the Lotus. Better handling, and much better value. And Magnum v Bond? No contest!

Fabian is a man of focus,determination and sheer fvckin will to go to those lengths to get everything absolutely spot on. I believe he once killed 3 men in a bar with a pencil-a fvckin pencil-who does that. If John Wick restored his car Fabian would shame him. Great video of my fav car of all time. Keep your Lambo,your Ferrari or your Bugatti-The Esprit Turbo is boner inducing.

Has a collection worth thousands upon thousands...still has a back boiler from the 80s. Maybe if they made James Bond boilers he'd have changed it by now? Hope he left plenty of ventilation to it and gets it regularly serviced!
Brillant interview. One of the things that I loved about The Living Daylights was the casting: Dalton,D'Abo, Krabbe. I adored Art Malik and Virgina Hey (the latter I met in the 2000s ) and Julie T. Wallace (running the Pig). The score and soundtrack was excellent - loved A-Ha and The Pretenders. But what I really loved was the detail regarding regional politics. In 5 minutes I got a good sense of what had happened in Afghanistan history - little did I know that it would be the starting point of what was to come.

Much generic British Leyland (Lucas) switchgear abounds in early Esprits. Legend has it that Colin Chapman would raid the employee parking area looking for ideas and parts to use on his cars. Employees soon learned the benefits of parking as far away from the building as possible and taking a long stroll from their cars to/from work!

Yup- bit of a disappointment for me....
I cannot think of any TV or film series that celebrates like the Bond films do. No matter how long ago or how big or small the part, it is celebrated. I was able to meet and speak with Lynn-Holly Johnson (Bibi Dahl from For Your Eyes Only) for a few minutes during intermission at a Bond concert a few years ago, she had not changed at all since 1981. What a beautiful woman. I could not resist, but I told her if she'd put her clothes on that I'd buy her an ice cream. We both laughed and it was a great encounter with her. I cannot match you Blair, as you've met so many, but that was my Bond moment.
I met her at the same concert (if it was the Sounds of 007 at The Albert Hall one!), and she was utterly charming. I said that she was a legend, and her daughter, who was standing nearby, screamed out to her friends, "You see- you are a legend!". She still has it!
You have a fantastic passion and hobby Blair. You are very fortunate to have experienced what you have.

What an incredible one on one tour of Donks museum. After handling all the special merchandise, I have to imagine you will not wash your hands any more, LOL! I am curious, does Donk have this items labeled, identified in display cases or what? Does he have a pretty good size place to display it all? I have not seen all the videos yet, but he also has an Aston Martin ? If so, which one?
Hi Rog! Donk does have some items displayed, but most of the weapons are stored securely offsite. Donk does have an Aston- a DB9 Sport, which he has adapted to mimic the DBS from Casino Royale (which was, in fact, a a 54 plate DB9 with cosmetic additions which would later be used on the DBS production cars). His actually has the actual exhaust caps off the screen car and the front number plate which turned out to be TT 378 - 20 from Casino Royale!
