If I had a son like that I would've made go to the gym get his life and shit together no one wants a gay son but sure he can be gay but what he is not going to do is date other man if I found out that he has he probably forgot who is father is
I don't entirely hate Yennefer, but really, sacrificing an adolescent girl's life in exchange for the promise of power -- that's so precisely the legacy of Aretuza it's chilling. It's exactly the bargain Yen was taught to make, and her initial hesitation had everything to do with her own pride and suspicion, nothing to do with morality or the recognition of another woman's agency. There's nothing especially admirable about starting to care only when you're forced to look your victim in the face. To me, though, the saddest thing about Yen is that after everything, she's always ready to go to her grave thinking of Tessaia as her savior. Is Tessaia a badass? Yes. Do I want to watch her make Stregobor die screaming? Yes. Is she a self-righteous serial abuser who defines family as a sick collection of all your favorite victims? Also yes. Yennefer, with all due respect, it's okay not to call your mom.
I love the fact that when Geralt is training with Ciri, his sword still has the basilisk blood on it. It's like, he just got out of a life-or-death situation and immediately decides to teach Ciri how to survive a life-or-death situation as well. I also just love the bond the two of them have, it's so special!
I love this scene still after years. I remember getting chills seeing the skull in the blood on his shirt at the end. I think this was the first skull he wore, too.
I don’t understand why everyone saying he didn’t wanna live in Ragnar shadow …. Yes he felt like that but why he had no reason too he was known for being one of the best fighters in the movie he was a titan and alot of Vikings in the movie recognized it even the king of Paris recognized his great fighting skill but no matter what he wanted more
Would have been better had they followed the actual source material.
