    Where I went wrong today not thinking about fiber first , so nuts, chicken tenders ( 3x fat / salt twigs actually) and a take away flat white coffee resulting in blowing out my calorie count for the day.

      Thank you for the comment. There is nothing like natural sleep, that is the objective. No chemical sleep aides can, as of yet reproduce the benefits of natural sleep. Consult your health care provider for any particular questions or conditions.

    Dr. What is your opinion on all these different eating plans such as Dr. Joel Furhman’ Eat to live, Dr Greger’s How not to Diet, Dr. Esselstyn Engine2 , The Starch Solution by Dr. John McDougall There’s so much information out there. It is overwhelming. There’s also Keto, and Whole 30.

      That is a lot to cover. I may have to do a video or even a series on that. However, the ones you point out, Fuhrman, Greger, Esselstyn, McDougall have in common a plant based approach. You can even do Keto as a Vegan. Always consult your health care provider on what may best be suited to you and what you might want to avoid. In general a plant predominant diet with whole foods rather than processed foods seems to be pretty healthy for many people.

    Doctor is it true that cancer and inflammation flourish less in a highly oxygenated area? And that learning to breathe more deeply could be of benefit in such matters and help with our circulation,digestion and being more able to get to sleep at night.

      Thank you for your comment. Breathing and oxygenation are important for healthy tissues. There are some treatments for cancers that try to limit circulation to tumors and thus impede their growth or treat them.

    About 15 years ago I went for a scan and they discovered thinning of my kidney . What does that mean?

      That isn't very specific. Sometimes thinning of the renal cortex might reflect some decreased function. It is best to consult your health care provider regarding any specific findings on your scan.

    I’ve had ccd stage 2 for years and it is stable, no changes at all. My heart doctor has limited my fluid intake to 64 fl oz a day and I seem to get more kidney infections. I have cut back on red meat and eat less meat over all. I still eat pork and chicken occasionally. Any recommendations as to what I can do about the fluids? A lot of meds I’m on give me dry mouth and I generally suck on hard candy. Even tho it’s sugar free I have still gained weight, 20 pounds in a year. I quit smoking and vaping so I blame the weight gain on that. My heart is fine, a little high blood pressure. I went to a heart doctor because of family history. Just wanted to get checked out when I hit 60.

      Consult your health care providers as to your specific situation. I usually tend to favor plant based diets, you can ask your health care providers if that is an option for you.     I just share my experience if you got pre diabetic or already diabetic before use medicine to control you can eat raw or cook 1 cup of celerlery EVERYDAY , we already use this method for 10 years don't need medicine and still control blood sugar in normal range , you can enjoy the food links to sugar but in limit

    I'm about 5 seconds into the video and I can tell anyone who's pre-diabetic to.. drink lots of water, eat fruits and vegetables. Have organized workouts or at least stay active. Avoid sugar, saturated fats, cholesterol and minimize carbs. Cinnamon pills and lots of greens particularly work wonders to reduce blood sugar.
