There was no “heart attack” before filming of that Angel movie (they never had financing so he faked two heart attacks both the day before filming), chrome was only released because they thought they could make money off the first episode with everyone home (they didn’t and it’s an awful product), they never shot the Angel film, Christopher lambert didn’t have an enormous trailer (but he was the only cast member to get paid on that movie), and Natasha saw through his lies finally and bounced. The problem I have with the flash-sideways and the ending is that it's irrelevant to the main story. It's basically after-life. You could have that in every movie, it's just an addendum. To me it's not really pertaining to the main story and doesn't add anything.

I got some questions. I think I could think of many more, but these are some that came to my mind: 1. Who built the huge statue on the beach and how? 2. Why is the black smoke monster afraid of ash? 3. How can Jacob teleport to any place in the world, speak any language, know literally everything and watch 7 bilion people on Earth to pick candidates? 4. Why were "The Others'' kindapping people and children? Were the lists of people written by Jacob? 5. What was all that Walt and animals thing about? Like he was somehow atracting animals or something idk. 6. Why Claire left Aaron in the middle of the night and never came back? 7. What were the whispers everyone was hearing in the jungle? 8. Why The Man in Black just didn't leave the island how Ben did (using this strange wheel which teleported him somewhere)? Why all the people couldn't leave the island this way? Ben knew how to do this. 9. How did Ben know about moving the island with that wheel and how does it even work?

None of those questions are the most inexplicable or annoying ones to me. There were a lot of niggling mysteries that just seemed thrown in and didn't make sense. The explanation for the Whispers, why the Others were so intent on capturing Walt early on, How Faradays mother knew so much about Desmond's life just from reading Faradays Island journal. Loads of things like that. Also that it ended up being a metaphysical explanation was quite unsatisfying, when so much of the early stuff seemed grounded or more tangible (of weird and puzzling). If they said early on that "oh, The Island has a magical light for a heart", I don't think we would have been so enthused...

Also, the pacing pre time skip is alright, it only gets worse post time skip. So they do need a remake for post time skip as well.

ok somebody else HAS TO REMEMBER THIS cuz I'm going crazy about it. When the Oceanic 6 managed to escape the island they showed flashforwards of their life in the real world and then we discover that Jin is not with them and is supposed to be dead, HOWEVER they show Sun giving birth but Jin is actually in China (I believe) with no recollection of his past life and he was engaged to a woman and then this is completely forgotten and he actually managed to survive the freighter's explosion and ends up in the island again?? Am I the only one that remembers this??

I'm so glad I'm not alone with not only disliking, but hating this film. I get when Gunn said its a "soft reboot" but he literally just remade the 2016 one. And to the people that like this film, cringe DOES NOT equal comedy. There was so much about this film's "comedy" that's just borderline edgelord cringe humor I couldn't laugh at. That one scene where Bloodsport and Peacemaker are having a dick measuring contest to see who can kill more people and how they do it was onto something, but overall got ruined by John Cena doing a jerk motion and it turned out they were killing the "good rebels". The begining scene where team 1 dies felt not only so unnecessary but people keep telling me Gunn was trying to "subvert our expectations". The trailer literally only showed team 2 most of it and team 1 doing a line up. The deaths were shocking, yes. But I wasn't shocked that they were gonna die. And most of them, so stupidly. Only HQ survived, which was no surprise. But why Gunn felt he needed his cringiest character, Peacemaker to survive that fight with Flag (which was also kinda insulting) just felt nasty. Considering, Gunn got to make a show with him too (which I still refuse to watch) and make him even more cringy with the "Superman has a poop fetish because he's an alien", "Go f*ck another fish Aquaman", or even the "Batman is a little b*tch because I kill people, he doesn't" jokes, is just disrespectful and unfunny. Also, Gunn made a show that's in the DCEU's continuity and knows damn well that Ben's Batman kills. Htf does that make any sense? (This is more of a nitpick for me but to me), the biggest insult to Harley Quinn's character was her outfit. Gunn almost had it right. Almost. She had an iconic outfit on the first 10 minutes and then got switched to a dress the rest of the film. Real fan service right there, Gunn. I don't even like Margot as HQ to begin with but using that outfit as promotional material. And to take it away i. The actual film is just a dick move There's a lot more that I could get into with why this film sucks but these are some of the simpler explanations. Thanks for making this video and being part of the unpopular thoughts crowd. It deserves more attention. I just can't with Gunn's films where he has creative freedom and his fans really need to take a chill pill. He's not DC's saving grace. And they say Snyder's fans are the crazy devoted type.

I love the questions it keeps me interested. My biggest question was what was up with the ancient society that lived on the island who built the temple and the statue. I know the statue is supposed to be symbolism for fertility so maybe they were having problems with giving birth because of the magnetic energy coming off the light. But some babies were born on the island so maybe it mattered on the proximity to where the light was being admitted from. Even though that would not make sense because the hydra island was miles away from the light but its just an idea.

The more I learn about this show the dumber it seems to me. It's as if the writers just made random shit up as the went along.

It wasn't a bad connection in the end considering how long was spent making it up as it went along. A collage of ish thrown against the wall that ended up an interesting mural.

I am honestly so surprised how many people genuinely don't understand this show. While I pick up on things each time I rewatch it, the main things you covered were so simple and spoon fed to the audience and people still didn't get it.

purgatory sounds like its a bad thing. christain said it. it was a world they all made to live in while they were waiting for everyone to be ready to move on. its because they all died at diffrent times. so thats where they went while they waited. they loved each other so much and it was the most meaningful times in their lifes and wanted to move on together..to a higher plane

Hey. Just finished lost for the second time. I noticed as I'm sure a lot did that Jin was the canteate because his wife got pregnant and had her baby. I mean when lock is in the cave with Sawyer and he says he doesn't know witch Kwan is the candidate. It's obviously Jin because his wife had her baby. So maybe it was always Jin. But definitely when lock says he doesn't know witch one it is in the cave to Sawyer. Also would love a spin off of back when the statue was built and how Hugo got on. Him being the new Jacob he could of just touched Ben and made him immortal too. Great show!

It's impossible to make sense of a series when the writers themselves had no clue where they were going and never got to wherever that was supposed to be. For instance, why was Penny in the church yet Michael and Walt weren't? That's an unanswerable question because even the writers don't know. Sometimes not being able to understand something doesn't mean that it's complicated. It can possibly just mean that it's stupid and directionless.

May be thats why some people said that they didnt like the way the show ended, because they didnt get it.. To me, was brilliant, the only possible way to end this wonderful journey. Every character you see in sideways or purgatory is already dead, trying to make things right this time like Ben for instance, he had to choose between his carreer or Alex, but this time he decided to save Alex.So, everyone of them died in their own time. Someone of them may have died of natural causes and some others not. But when all of them die they got together to go to heaven, thats why you see a white light in the final scene that gives us a sense of that. And in the end, Move on song is so wonderful and moving.
