I have this video when it first came out by Powerhouse. I have just about all of their videos. I need to start watching them again. Al Tucci’s voice is legendary. Without him voicing these races it would just be mediocre.

Its awesome seeing this again after 20 plus years...my dad had this vhs and I use to watch it all the time. Thank you for posting this

2 OF THE GREATEST of all time. at one time garlits tried to make tires for front wheels that was more like fan belts than tires. i dont think they would stay in place at high speed. he was always trying to find any possible way to go faster. he has tons on knowledge under that grey hair.

I had this on vhs years ago, (I actually got it while eating at the old RACE ROCK back in '01.) one of my favorite parts is when Billy Glidden comes to check out some "feelin good" ford fans that spelled out ford using their "medicine cans" on the spectator side. 🤣🤣🤣 then he gets beat by some small town racer in the finals lol.

I saw Ivo at Pamona in 2005. He was hiding, seriously, by a fence in a corner in the dark, with....eeewww. It was creepy. It was near the exit behind the Auto Club building. He didn’t look well.

Most guys would have backed off going sideways at that speed with the pedal to the flo'. The Pontiac driver is standing on that pedal.

I saw this happen in person too. The drivers were told to follow the push truck of the car in front of them. Garlits dipshit truck driver went out around him (as you can see in the video). Tommy did what he was told and followed having no idea (for the blower) that Big Daddy was right in front of him. Neither drivers fault. The truck driver is to blame
