Two of the most stressful and deadly occupations in the world right now has to be being a police officer and a teacher.

I spent 30 years on the job that included three officer involved shootings and seeing a friend go down w/a round in his chest (no vests then & he did fully recover). In 1989 I was on the scene of a SWAT incident where a friend was killed right in front of me. At that point I was eligible to retire, couldn’t afford it and wound up staying another eight years. When I finally did leave it was a huge relief and my heart goes out to all the working cops out there. It sounds like you found your calling and I wish the best for you.

I want to leave so bad I was Dekalb then Death Investigator for the DeKalb ME and then Stockbridge. But allll i know is public safety. I'm just burned out.. im a new mom and I just want peace.

I COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND!!! I spent 8 years in the US Navy... Honorably Discharged on a Friday and that Monday I started Barber College & have been a Licensed 💈 Barber for the last 24 years!!! The best decision God gave me in life🙏🏿 STILL SERVING PEOPLE 💪🏿 & far less stressful. 💥

I came across your video because I searched ' how to start writing a book ' 📖 because I have a story to tell about my life. Childhood through my homelessness and losing my kids.. to falling into addiction and what my days were and what I witnessed happening ... to my recovery and where I am now almost 5 years later. Where I see myself and my goals.... I know what I want or need to say, I just dont know HOW to start it off. Or where to start. Your video is the ONLY one that got me to go plug in my laptop to start charging it. They cut my hours at work drastically so on top of not being able to Pay my bills at this point for my family, in-between looking for a 2nd job, I have been wanting to start this book. Not one video has got me motivated as I am right now after watching you tell me to get going basically 🙃 lbvs. ❤ I can't thank you enough for taking your time and making this video. Good job sister. 1. It's a low paying, underappreciated job 2. The stress isn't worth the squeeze 3. Affects your personal off duty life as well, you start to look and treat people differently. 4. You die earlier from stress, men much faster than woman. 5. Hours are absolute crap!

Wow wow God definitely led me to you with a learning disability and wanting to write a book my friend told me to start with a journal but my journal is all in my head i don't write nothing down so this definitely is gonna help me heal and write my book
