@@Wreck2resto yes , its been built and on the road about 9 years, it took 8 years to build, its a cheque book car , caused me a lot of stress and arguing from time to time with the fabricator. Its a 28 model pick up running a 348 w headed big block chev , I havnt driven it for 3 years as I have a 32 coupe with a blown chev 350 that I love more

Yeah it all adds up pretty quickly

For the rust repairs and mild steel fab work I went through one of the bigger g size bottles of argon shield and then for the stainless tig work I went through another one and a half e size bottles of argon. That’s another pretty big cost that I didn’t include in the costings

Hi Mate. Thanks. We had the idea of the design but we outsourced the graphic design part and then we got the shirts printed ourselves. We are in the process of organising some merchandise to be able to sell on our website.

Not at all, www.troydesigns.com.au/ Troy was great to deal with and we’re stoked with the logo he created. He was reasonably priced and turn around time was great so we highly recommend.

That’s always the way. As the saying goes jumping in the deep end teaches you to swim a lot quicker 👍 Just keep chipping away at it and before you know it you will be done.

Yeah I’m not happy with the mic I’m using so we are looking at upgrading it shortly

Thanks mate. Yeah it’s set up on pulse. About 40a high and 10a low. Creates a bit less heat on the 1mm sheet.

Yeah it definitely takes practice. I have one of the Unimig Razor 4in1 welders so it’s super easy to set up. I’ll do a video of the common settings I use and how I set the welder up 👍

This colour is called yulunga maroon and the code for it is 12r. I believe it is only a Hk colour though so maybe check on the winners website for the hg interior code 👍
