Hey I know it’s a lot to READ ⬇️ But hear me out 😮‍💨 Gun Violence in Trinidad 🇹🇹 has become overbearing. T&T is ranked 6th as the most criminal country in world and that’s not a good thing. Imagine, if other countries implements a system to ban 🇹🇹 nationals from entering their country and place heavy restrictions for 🇹🇹 citizens not to work, study or migrate. Opportunities will be lost. Everyday in sweet 🇹🇹 there’re multiple homicides ‼️ We don’t know who is next 💔 Some of us, felt the pain of a family/friend being shot, some survived to tell their story and some passed on and left us with heartaches. I used to say crime have nothing to do with me because it’s not at my doorstep but 🇹🇹 is my doorstep because I have to run errands, go to school/work and God forbids, I can become a victim innocently at anytime. Crime only produces hurt and pain for both the victim and the criminals family by extension the entire country because it can prompt reprisals etc ‼️ Just writing this, making me teary because it’s too much, I want a safe and peaceful life for all of us ❤️ I know my message isn’t enough and most of us shares the same opinions about the 🇹🇹GOVERNMENT. They have to do much better to protect us but we HAVE to do our parts as well. We have to guide and influence the the youths in the “right way!” Every creed and race shall find an equal place, let’s put aside our political differences etc. Look out for the YOUTHssssss. The past and current 🇹🇹 GOVERNMENT has FREE trade schools, if the youths not academically inclined, they can pursue a trade. Nothing in life is easy, Truth be told, life is NOT a bed of roses, you have to work SMART to achieve, strive to become a better version of yourself everyday. You have to overcome obstacles. Life is filled with Trials and Tribulations. Remember, the creator in everything you do 🙌🏾 Lastly, some of us have resources and opportunities to get ahead in life and some don’t BUT each of us are granted 24 hours everyday and fortunate to have Wi-Fi/Internet. Let’s use our time and energy wisely, limit the complaints, speak life into yourself and use the internet to your advantage, LEARN and Earn! Real Talk 🇹🇹
