My Thoughts on Italy (Worth Your Time?)
Thanks I wish you shared what’s the average weather is like I like around the 60°F between 50s and 70.
Bangalore . Like if you agree .
Thank you for such a detailed and helpful video. I have a question about the journal, can you add custom items? I need to track my mood and symptoms and want to understand if Whoop would be useful for this
Singapore? Thailand?
Very helpful, thanks!
I’m an American, and San Diego is my favorite city on Earth
Johannesburg is nearly perfect, a few cold months in winter but blue skies and no rain.
Durban is super hot in summer, very humid, winter can also be very hot. Air-conditioning is a must!
I had already chosen Guatemala City, will look into others you mentioned for next time. Fantastic video!
Mountains of Panama. Close as you will probably find to perfect climate.
Some comments... 1. The city you portrayed as Guatemala City is actually Antigua Guatemala, the former capital, the weather of both cities are similar but Guatemala City is way bigger. 2. Sao Paolo is very hot and humid during summer, no way a foreigner can make it without AC
Good video!
what about Funchal Portugal?
also sao Miguel Portugal. Madeira and Azores.
Concise, relevant and helpful. Thanks!
I have just one doubt. Whoop has any restriction to under 18 people? If yes, what restrictions?
I’d love to do the same analysis
I live in São Paulo, a city that I love for its cultural life. In Köppen classification it is officially Cfa, just because its coldest month averages below 18°C, but bordering Cwa with dry and beautifully sunny winters, and rapidly transitioning into Aw due to climate change. The city is very hot for me, although cool for Brazilian standards due to its elevation. I prefer cold semi-arid climates like in high altitudes in Arizona (Flagstaff, Grand Canyon South Rim). It is true that most houses don’t have heating or air conditioner, but business and stores do have cooling systems. I consider the ideal temperature indoor 20-23°C, but 18-25°C is fair. I monitor the temperature in my apartment and I can tell that no more then 10 days a year it is under 18°C. The lowest I recorded was 15°C. We do have some cold air that comes in the winter, some days the temperature in the streets can be 8-15°C. But heating is not necessary at all. On the other hand, at least 1/3 of the nights in the year is above 25°C in my bedroom, so I need to turn on the air conditioner for a comfortable sleep, even if outside the temperature has dropped to 17-20°C, what normally happens in summer. So, yes, we can live without air conditioner, but it is not quite pleasant for a significant part of the year.
Appreciate the detailing, Quite exhaustive.
Great
Hello and thank you for sharing planning trip myself with my daughter wondered what was the name of the airnb that was no good and on the other hand do you know any good ones?
São Paulo is really hot from november to April. You do need air conditioner. Salvador is like a bonfire ALL the time. Brasília just the same.
Did you make it to Gaeta by chance?
The city of eternal spring is not Bogota but Medellin Colombia. Bogota is cool averaging 8°C to 18°C while Medellin is usually 18°C to 28°C . That is a big difference making Medellin warm instead. There is no such thing as winter or summer there also, since these cities are close to the Ecuador line. There is a rainy season in March-May an another one in September-December but you will also get plenty of rain during the “dry” seasons, Medellin averaging 1.500 mm a year
Whoop is actually terribly in acurate with hardrate. Sins almost all data is based on hardrate ur getting scammed for 30 dollars a month
Bro just did a deep dive on your video so hyped for our podcast episode even more now.

Great Video!! Very helpful!
The tax on childlessness was a natalist policy imposed in the Soviet Union and other Communist countries, starting in the 1941. Joseph Stalin's regime created the tax in order to encourage adult people to reproduce, thus increasing the number of people and the population of the Soviet Union. The 6% income tax affected men from the age of 25 to 50, and women from 20 to 45 years of age.The tax remained in place until the collapse of the Soviet Union. This propaganda communist policy made the Soviet Union's birth rate always between 2.6-2,3 during the period 1960 -1990 . And the Soviet Union was the first country in the world to legalize abortion in 1918 .But then abortion was Ban again in 1933 as a result of the birth rate dropping from 7.0 (1920) to 4.0 (1930) .After the tax on chilliness was implemented (1941). Abortion was legalized again in 1955.
House to expensive for new family . Old rich people have 4 home As an investment. Increase house prices
Are you kidding me? You don't need AC during summers in HongKong? I'd like to let the author try. That shows you can't take these kind of so called list or findings very seriously.
Which of these countries can you do well in only speaking English, low-cost and retirement visas? Translator apps or small-translator devices will probably be much better and cheaper in the coming years I would imagine.
very helpful video, had whoop for a few months and struggled to understand some of the metrics but now I do so thank you mate

super great video, on the free trial right and i love it! thanks.
Bogota has temperatures in the 40s every night , 12 months a year and is cloudy most of the time. I would not consider it to have an ideal climate.
What a great video. I'm looking to retire in a perfect weather place. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful! Happy Holidays!
The problem is even more deeper than just birth rates : in many modern societies, lots of Men and Women basically disregard the idea of being in couple. And they have good reasons to do so, especially for men : divorce rates, child support afterwards, etc.
Absolutely - couldn't agree more.

Loved the video, brother! One feature I found about my phone recently is that I can turn on "blue light mode" automatically at a certain time and it'll eliminate the need for blue light glasses Would love a video on tips on waking up better. I personally struggle getting out of bed even during high recovery times, something I'm actively looking to improve when alarm rings at 0500 and 0600
Glad you enjoyed my man 🤝🏼 That’s amazing - remind me do you have an Android? Or is that available on iPhone? Hoping it’s available on iPhone I’d love to use that. Absolutely happy to give some tips on waking up early - have gone through this myself. I’d recommend 1) If you don’t have one already, get a physical alarm and set it up as far from your bed as possible. You’ll have to get up and out of bed to actually turn it off. 2) Use multiple alarms (WHOOP, physical alarm, I also use my Google Home), can stagger them a few mins apart to make sure you’re up 3) Start building the habit of immediately getting light in your eyes after turning off your alarm. Open the blinds, turn all the lights on. Make this unconscious habit. Will take some time. 4) I used to wake up, turn off alarm, hit lights, then immediately turn on my work laptop, that seemed to turn my mind on quickly. 5) Phone outside of bedroom. Idk about you but I have a propensity to grab phone after hitting alarm and hop back in bed, so I make sure to keep it out of my room. Helps break that tendency. Confident some of those tweaks will help 👍🏻 Let me know how they go, can provide more if needed!
@@evansukman buying physical alarm right now. Challenging to not disturb my girl with it... Oh well 😂
@evansukman I got an android, but perhaps there's an app?
@@AnatolieClevanJust seeing these now… apologies. Small price to pay? 😅 It’s for the greater good, tell her duty calls and you’re doing a disservice to your people by not answering the call.
@@AnatolieClevanSweet. I actually think “low power mode” on iPhone might do this same thing… I’m gonna look into it.
You’re right, it's a fact that quitting booze not only makes your world a better place to be in, good things start to “magically” happen and the energy is insane! Absolutely! Glad you had the same experience with it. Interesting - is that a book? I’ll have to check it out 👍🏻
This is just classic supply and demand. Young people are not valuable when the supply is larger than the demand, but if the supply were decreased and the demand increased - just imagine what people would be willing to pay us to have us produce children? I mean, I question why I was born - If jobs can replace workers with ease and cut jobs, it suggests that they value profit over the welfare of the people. If that is the case, this world only likes to think it needs more people when, in actuality, the world would only take those people for granted and not care about them whatsoever - only pretending to love them while they are young and then letting them financially struggle once they age into adults. It's quite selfish to bring new life into circumstances you would personally hate to be raised in. If I do not get to live the life I want, then I will not pass on my genes. Why invest in a disappointing world where your efforts do not gain profitable returns? I mean, why invest in anything if you do not get what you want in return? One-sided relationships are never worthwhile. If people's lives truly mattered so much, healthcare would be high quality and free for all citizens in every country. Since that is not the case - it is quite evident that money is valued over people. The only way to make people worth more than money under capitalism is for there to be fewer people so that they are of higher value. I find it odd when others pressure others into producing financial burdens such as children whom they will tell to work hard and earn a living when there is no good reason to put people into this situation unless you personally benefitted from it and you believe the next generations will as well. But, if your own life sucks, it would be cruel and selfish to bring life into circumstances that did not benefit you. It is selfish to bring others into circumstances to share in your misery and suffering. Besides, what incentive is there to reproduce? People are expensive, and the financially prudent thing to do to financially subsist or thrive is to reduce expenses and, also, not add to those expenses by having kids who are incredibly expensive and demanding.
I totally hear where you're coming from my friend. But I'd say it's selfish NOT to reproduce. Hear me out... It's selfish to withhold that gift of giving life from our children and the world... It's selfish to want to keep our money to ourselves instead of investing in the next generation... It's selfish to rob society of people who could have actually made it better - if you raise your kids right, they can help improve the circumstances that you view as being less favorable for everyone else. Things were much worse 100 years ago than they are today in many ways (we have dramatically better lives than they did), imagine if everyone then said "Nah this world sucks too much I don't want to have kids"... the world would have stopped dead in its tracks. The incentive to reproduce is the fulfillment you get from the experience. Ask any (sane) parent, they will tell you that having kids was the most rewarding experience they've had and they wouldn't change it for the world. As inconvenient as it was in so many ways, it was worth every inconvenience for the reward of bringing your own children into the world and showing them the way. It sounds like you are not happy with your circumstances right now - that's okay! You should absolutely improve your circumstances before having kids so that you don't pass that energy on to them, but, after you do, I expect you'll receive a lot of happiness and gratitude after bringing kids into the world 🙂
@@evansukmanWell, I see your point. I will definitely work to improve my circumstances. But having kids will be contingent on whether I am even able to get married, afford a house, or even improve my situation to one where I can afford the risks involved in raising kids. Otherwise, I do not mind being selfish, because if life can be unfair by bringing me into this world without asking for my permission, then I can be unfair by not bringing any life into this world for it to take for granted. So, it ultimately depends on whether things get better or not. I do not want to raise children in an environment I myself would hate to be raised in.
Lot of good content in here, would love shorter form more consumable versions as well!
Glad you enjoyed my man. Absolutely - been on my mind for a while. Good reminder 👍
