His guitar skill is so underrated. I can play a lot of Zeppelin, AC/DC, plenty of metal, and this guitar part is intimidating as hell.

I waited 3 weeks for this to air just so I could record it on Charlie Rose. This is simply the best version of The Stone I've ever heard and I've been to countless shows and have many many other taped versions . . . what he did here, with just an acoustic guitar, all alone . . . inspired and inspiring.

phil phillips ruined this song on national television... im sure dave was pissed. he is a poser..dave worked his ass off for years selling albums out of the back of a van. just scrapping to peddle his music and never intending to become anything. I was ashamed to watch that dude copying every bit of daves style from his foot movment to his guitar playing. i am also a musician who inspired by dave but would never jock all of his originality fool people to thinging it was my own on American Idol.
