Awesome nice brown trout 🎣🐟👍
Thanks! We had a blast!
Awesome vid like usual.
Thanks, Glad you enjoyed it!
Love the tin boat. Great fish!
Thanks! We have had some great fishing and hunting in that boat.
Nice! What size is that boat tho? 😂 😱
It’s a 14’ Mirrocraft.
@@willsworldoutdoorswhat lb thrust is your trolling motor?
It’s a 34 pound thrust 12 volt.
@ it does the job I might have to get one
Excellent channel. Real people, local content, everyman gear, sharing techniques, depths, locations. Very informative. Thanks from Toronto area.
Thanks! Glad those things show because that’s exactly how we are. Some great content coming up, stay tuned!
they dont require flotation (survival) suits on your side after november 1st ? With these water temperatures , you wont last more than a few minutes .
No suits required but in a boat this size you need to have flotation device on. You’re right about the cold water, you would only have a short time to be scooped up.
Did you boys have your new york saftey course license?
Yes. It’s required.
Good day out there in the lower Niagara. The shiners were really the ticket to your success. Caught some jumbos and some average sized browns. Well done guys.
It worked out ok and we learned a lot. Can’t wait to build on that for the next time.
Nicely done guys. Beauty fish. I like the kwik fish in the faster current.
Glad you enjoyed the video, and thanks for the tip!
Excellent video... Do you eat any of your fish?
Sometimes
all of those browns are super nice. Average for the river is about 5-7lb. Great fish guys
Thanks! Catching browns in the river is a real treat for us.
Nice Chunky Browns 👍👍 not bad for 1st time ✌probably would have got more bites with just the plain minnow without beads
We’ll keep experimenting and learn g as we go. Always interesting to try something new!
Very nice brown trout
Thanks! Love catching them.
What size float was that?
We use 3/4 ounce floats.
@ Imma grab some from Buffalo Tackle! Thanks!👍🏾
I use cheap foam bobbers in the cattaraugus .or use the raven floats that other people use and loose.
I hear you. We’ve been using the floats made by Scheffield and like them a lot as a lower cost alternative. Check them out on BuffaloTackle.com and use CODE: Willsworld for 10% OFF.
I've heard this intro music in at least 173 other videos
It’s catchy. Thanks for watching.
Throw a Mepps spinner or Rapala jerk bait lure.
Also good options. I’ve seen guys do really well on jerk baits.
Nice Lakers again 👍👍 Andy battin .1000 ✌ Steelhead had to be up at Whirlpool and Devils hole for sure
Those steelhead are definitely on the move!
Mostly enjoy the channel but God I'm sick of watching your catch greasers
We’ll change it up a bit in the weeks ahead. It was the only game in town for a while. Thanks for sticking with us.
Good stuff as always! 👊
Appreciate you watching!
Great videos👍🏻Just curious…what exactly is your definition of snagging that all the fly rod fisherman seem to be doing
Position yourself above a pod of fish, that you have usually seen. Put on a small dark fly. Cast above the fish and when your drift ends in the pod of fish just rip the fly out of the water and snag into a fish. It’s deadly…
Good fishing spot been there many times without the waiters and without the wearing backpack one slip and kiss your butt goodbye you’re wearing two lead sinkers think smart think safe
Always a good reminder to be safe.
Great fish! Nice catch!!
Thanks!
Wasting food, tragic lol
Hahaha. Big guy is not starving :)
Those fish are for eating unless otherwise stated. 😆😀
Pretty hard in the wind even with heavier bobbers. No skunkin
Sometimes it seems you just can’t everything lined up down there. High water, low water, wind, current speed, water color, etc. ;) Lucky to be able to give it a go I guess.
Thank you for the information. Do you ever do guided trips . Thank you ahead of time
@ glad you like the video! I’ll be offering guided trips soon. Stay tuned to the channel for details in the months ahead!
When did you shoot this vid ? Late nov ? Thanks
Shot this one in October.
Are you running braid for your mainline ?
In this particular situation I am only because the current makes it really tough to land fish and I needed a little extra leverage in them. The leaders are still florocarbon.
Nice video.. was there yesterday for the first time but the wind killed me.. can’t even cast 😅
It can be brutal out there! At least you got out.
@ you went out early November.. in January there is no fish lol
Haha. We’re still fishing down there now, just haven’t gotten to those videos. There are always fish, they just hang out in different spots. Stick with it and you’ll find them. Water conditions lately have been the real problem.
@ saw one guy on the Canadian side smacking them with soft plastics minnows and a float. Caught 10ish in 30 minutes…
@ninos431 where did u see that haha I gotta try that spot
Perfect color water but wind makes it tough. No Skunkin at least
The wind is tough. Making lots of muddy water right now. Just need to be patient. Go Bills!
Love watching and learning from you guys. Started w a spinner moved to fly now lookin into centerpin
Thanks! It’s cool to be able to help guys along.
Nice fish, nice release.
Thanks for watching!
Dang didn't know you guys were that close to the river, lucky dogs hehehe, nice steel 😎🎣
Life is good! 😊
How do you get there? I’m from welland but just started fishing
It’s on the American shoreline.
Pops for the win nice catch
He gets em here and there 😁
Great trip and nice fish! Barry
Thank you!
Asshole rock living up to its name😂
Did you walk through the people back yards to get to the first spot? I was there a week ago and I had to walk thru some yards and felt weird about it, idk if everyone does that
Try to avoid going through the yards :)
@ did you walk along the creek or something? I don’t know how you’d get there without going into like 2 yards
I’ve got one day to fish with my boy, Friday. Any chance you can lead me to this trib? I see a few people know right where it is already but I’d appreciate a push to the right area (don’t need the exact spot just the creek) if you don’t mind, I know it’s taboo to ask but like k said I have one day to go….
I’d like to help you. Find us on Instagram and send me a DM there.
That is known as a LDR. Long distance release.
Hahaha. I like that!
What River?
I can’t give specifics but it’s a tributary to Lake Erie in WNY.
Can I get down there using crutches? I’m a bit disabled but love to fish steeliest?
It would be tough in crutches. The NY Power Authority has a fishing platform with an elevator to get you to the water level that might be worth checking out. It will reopen in April.
Nice fishing boyz💪, too bad Dakota didn't land that last one, was a monster fo sho
Why is it we only lose big fish? Haha. Happy New Year!
@@willsworldoutdoors hahaha, may 2025 bring many fish😏
Looks like a male to me, nice fish
Thanks!
Hey I know I’m late but what was the brand of line and do you still use it??
I use 17 pound suffix for my mainline.
You guys did good under all that pressure I couldn't do it, also I liked the video you guys did at Burt with the inflatables some beautiful fish! some good content so I subscribed!
I’m glad you like the content! Hopefully we’ll see you on the water.
When was this if u don’t mind me asking ?
This was in November.
Nice Fish 👍👍 tough fishing gin clear waters for sure
Thanks man! Happy New Year!
Awesome video as always do you prefer beads or spawn or does it depend on where you fish
It really depends on the creek but beads have been out fishing egg sacks almost everywhere for us lately.
love seeing all the boats pull close in to u with all that water they can fish 🤣
You clearly don’t know how the drifts work for the boats.
I know for most it’s a strange thing to see but the only water worth fishing is right against shore. They give shore guys plenty of room and will even clear lines if your fish makes a run. Makes for a pretty unique experience though.
@@willsworldoutdoorsspot on man! Most of the fish are in the seams along the shore.
Living 15 min from the big river would be a dream! Love the channel
We’re pretty lucky! Glad you are enjoying the channel. A lot more videos like this one coming.
