@@TheTravelluvr there is no word that this resort will be family kids friendly in the future but I did heard of other resorts like one I was In May that they will because family friendly due to low occupancy. Hopefully that this won’t be the case for this resort!!!

@@PaulaBento-tb8yb this was filmed one year ago so I’m not 💯 sure. In my most recent trip to Cuba last month they did have usb imports in the rooms. You can always bring your own plugins with a usb they will work everywhere in Cuba.

@@spearogogo no you can’t !!! You need to apply for permit from the government and it’s an extremely long process. I need to renew my permit but probably won’t as it’s a struggle even after u have a permit. As soon as you’ll get in Cuba you will get pulled in a room where they will ask you a bunch of questions, it’s really not worth it trust me. Thanks for watching and you’re comment !!! @@Busybeeee good day and thanks for your message. There’s no cigar shop on the property only a small gift shop. The marina is a 10 min walk or you can take a shuttle that will take you there. At the marina you will find a nice cigar shop as well as a market where you can buy all your souvenirs. The pool at the deepest end is about 5 feet deep. That would be the pool nearest to the beach. In my suite I did have a butler. There’s only two suites of this kind in the property in bungalow 7. Room 7201 and 7206. I was in room 7206. As for tips I give them 5$ can bills as the Cuban has no use of loonies and toonies. The cleaning lady I usually give her a 5$ plus some additional items like toothpaste, toothbrush, shampoo etc. at the bars and restaurants 5$. I usually spend between 30$ to 50$ a day in tips. @@JaypeaFoto yes you need special permission from the government plus the hotel managers plus plus plus. It’s an extremely long process and not worth to bring a drone as you will get questioned and harassed on ur vacation.

@@marcomillette4012 However, it seems you have one in all your videos, so you’ve gone through the process and it must be worth it. We are landscape photographers, not video makers. Would care to share the process?

@@JaypeaFoto I started my process in 2018 and got my paperwork in 2021 or 2022. Very long process not including what you need to go thru at the airport. On my last trip in July they told me that I had to renew it but probably won’t as it’s a headache. Here’s an email if you want me deal. @@stellerate I got this board in 2019 n paid 600$ usd. I would say it’s the standard one. As of today it still working great if this matters. I don’t use it as often as I should but the battery is still good on it. The only thing that failed on it so far is it doesn’t show what 💯 battery life is on the board. U need to check the remote for the battery life as in the board it’s always at zero. I still like riding it every now and then

I was in Trinidad in may/June then in Cayo Cruz and didn't run out of anything at all. Had plenty to eat and drink. Every now and then they might run out of beer or something else in one bar but they will have it somewhere else. I'll be back in Cuba on October 11th at the Grand Aston after my trip to Negril next week. Thanks for watching and your comment !!!

Yes in bungalow 1 there’s two elevators and all the a la carte restaurants and the main buffet is also in bungalow 1 making it easy for you to access. I know they have a shuttle service to bring you to the market which is about 5 minutes away but not so sure if they will bring you from bungalow 1 to the beach and back as it’s a short walking distance. I did see some carts on the property to bring supplies but I’m not sure if they have one specific to bring guest from the lobby “bungalow 1” to anywhere in the property. P.S. bungalow 1 is fully accessible for guest in wheelchairs.

Thanks for watching my video! While I was there, the mosquitoes were not as bad as at other resorts I’ve been to in Cuba. On only on one occasion, after it rained, did the mosquitoes come out. They do fumigate the area at night, but I highly recommend bringing some after-bite treatment, Benadryl, and mosquito spray-these are useful anywhere in Cuba. The resort was pretty quiet while I was there. There was some entertainment and music at the pool in the afternoon as well as in the lobby at night. I found more entertainment at the beach around 11 a.m. Keep in mind that the resort was only at 30% capacity while I was there and will probably remain so until December. I never had any issues swimming at night, so I would say that they don’t have a specific hour to close the pools. The pool is about 5 feet deep at its deepest point and gradually becomes shallower. It is wide and long enough for a good swim. The gym has good air conditioning, and the equipment is new-great for a quick workout!!! More videos of this property on the way. The Beach at the sanctuary is way better than Varadero. I'm not sure if you've been to Varadero before but the beaches are not what people say they are. Cayo Coco and Cayo Santa María has the nicest beaches I've ever seen !!! If your looking to do more excussions Varadero is probably the place to go at but for the beaches and tranquility you'll have an amazing time at the sanctuary.

I was thinking blau as well but my main preference is a gorgeous beach so thanks for confirming varadero beach is not as nice. Would u say cayo Cruz is better then cayo santa maria beaches?

@@cind3913 no, the stretch of beach in Cayo Santa Maria at the memories, start fish, Royalton and the Playa Cayo Santa Maria would be my number one beach in Cuba or where I have been for sure. The sand in Cayo Cruz is as nice but the beach in Cayo Santa Maria listed above is wider and 100% nicer but still can’t go wrong with Santa Cruz in-front of the resort.

@@marcelperry8367 we were lucky when we were there we had plenty of food but when we left people started to complained that they had no food. This is when all the locals came in for new years.

@@jamalhackett7528 it works throughout the resort no problem even at the beach but obviously not as good. It works at best in the lobby but also worked pretty good in the room where we were. Wifi is free for the week.

@@cuongdo9958 I just got back from Cayo Cruz at the Sanctuary White Sands last Thursday and it’s pretty nice. Almost as nice as Cayo Santa Maria. Cayo Santa Maria has a nice stretch of beach where the memories, Royalton, star fish and playa Cayo Santa Maria is located. That is probably the nicest beach I’ve seen. Is you book at the Royalton Cayo Santa Maria you’ll have access to all the other resorts I’ve mention above. Well worth it. Thanks for watching and your comment. Safe travelings 😎😊

@@fannydesjardins8415 if ur looking to go for a swim probably not the best place. I did some snorkelling n there’s lots to c but u need to go way out there. I’ll b releasing a video shortly of my snorkelling adventure. Don’t go there for the beach as it’s mostly seashells.the resort is fantastic. The town of Trinidad is beautiful n the landscape id breathtaking. I’m currently in Cayo Cruz n the beach here is amazing here.

I didn’t take the diamond club package as it’s really not worth it in my opinion. While we were there in the diamond club section there was lots of young families with kids making lots of noise. At the beach you can pay a vip section for 100$ usd n again in my opinion really not worth it. You’ll get some really good service no matter what. There’s butlers all over the resort. It’s accessible for everyone on the resort as long as your room is in the first floor. There’s no elevators at this location. From the lobby to the restaurants, pool, beach ect there’s a ramp. We just came back from the Melia Trinidad peninsula and there’s some elevators at this location plus you can reserve a swim out suite. Let me know if you have other questions. I’ve been to the memories next door twice and personally I thought it was better but the last time I was there was in 2016. We just got back from the Melia Trinidad peninsula. Amazing resort but with no beach. Not far away there’s the beach of ancon that is considered in the top nicest beach in Cuba. The landscape and the city of Trinidad makes up for the beach. I love resorts but I must get out to visit the area. We had a great time at this location. I would love to go back in a few years when it will be fully constructed and perhaps with a nice beach. The city of Trinidad and the landscape was amazing. Thanks for your comment and watching 😎🏝️
