Lyric does very well with this Silent Night but I prefer Tarja from Nightwishes version from her Dark Christmas Album. It is crisper with operatic and dark overtones. Mariah who???🙄🤭 I really loved Lyric Noel's Carol of the Bells which I listen to on repeat every x-mas season. I am also a big fan of Dark Sarah's "A Grim Christmas Story" which puts me in a cheerful mood every Christmas. 🥰🥰Best Metal Blessings from Canada🇨🇦

Your misunderstanding of the sister situation stems from the background story surrounding Ren's creation of this song. Ren wanted show his love for his loving, free spirited little sister on her birthday by writing a verse for her, then scheduling the release of this song on her birthday. This man is all heart!!❤❤✌

When you look at the most advanced societies in the world, where they have the highest quality of life, low crime, good health, highest life expectancy, good education and a great work-life balance, you’ll find that they are concentrated in NorthWest Europe. And guess what system they use - social capitalism. The capitalist element of their systems provides the wealth creation to lift people’s standard of living while the socialist element provides the safety nets: free college education; free healthcare; 9 months paid paternity and maternity leave; 30 days paid holiday; regulated working hours and a highly motivated and productive work force as a result - which in turn feeds the capitalist element to be productive. The cycle feeds itself. They use capitalism (the right) with socialism (the left) and take the best parts of each…because the truth really does lie in the middle. Thank you for reacting to this song. My school district handed hundreds of girls on a silver platter to a predatory man who volunteered to referee at girls sports even though they knew he gave up his teaching degree to avoid charges from two of his 5 year old female students. Since that time, I've watched school districts just pass predators around. Schools push things under the rug, ask them to leave, and depending on the severity they move cities or they move states and put themselves in a position of easy access again. I spent years of my life wishing I had let things go further so he would be in prison instead of being allowed to continue in all of the other schools in my district, including the highschool that I had to move into the next year. The teacher in my highschool who was caught and violated no-contact orders now works in a school in a different state. It's hard to choose violence because it seems so useless, but I truly believe the only way things may ever change is songs like this being put out there more.

I cry every single time I watch/listen to this. I was blessed enough to buy the limited edition vinyl version of this trilogy that Ren made available recently. Generational violence is just so sad…I had a feeling your buddy did not understand the ending. (He kind of got a weird out of order viewing experience- so, it is understandable) But it was ultimately an awesome reaction..especially once you explained it to him. ❤

Ohh man.. I couldn't agree with you both more about Ren being in the class of those critical voices you mention.. I've been telling anyone who will listen that I feel like I've found the Modern day Bob Dylan.. like Dylan Ren can't be pigeonholed into one genre.. and like Dylan he has some just for fun songs mixed in with several songs that truly challenge you to think about the human condition.. these artists work stimulates necessary conversations and shines light on dark places of our society at times .. you want to look away but it's so well articulated it's so well preformed that you can't look away and I am just like you guys.. I'm 1 year from 50 older than most of these Ren fans and I really think that this new generation needs Ren.. they need his mind, his creativity and his voice.. I LOVED THIS REACTION! An interesting thing I stumbled across was a channel called Renegade who did a alternative song to Jenny and screech in which Jenny basically breaks the cycle.. instead of freezing and going silent in the face of danger like her mother Violet did.. this version Jenny speaks when she sees James pull put his blade and everything changes for both of them.. it really was brilliant I thought. The writer of the song has it sung by a AI.. but they put the words together and did a lot of work to get it were they wanted it.. it was really interesting and they had a song about the aftermath of Rens version and it's about the officer who was deeply effected by his shooting of a young boy named screech.. I think you guys would like and appreciate them.

Yes, Haruna its the shortest member of the band.. but is not 4'10" (that is Asami) She is an 4'9" full of power. Midori, 4'11" Miyako and Fami 5' 3"
