Having FIVE players from each team crammed in there at once was peak hockey entertainment. Just imagine - ten guys total in the sin bin, probably sharing the most awkward small talk ever while their teammates battled it out on the ice. That's the kind of beautiful hockey madness you can't script! Those penalty boxes were standing room only - it's one of those 'you had to see it to believe it' moments that deserves to be in every NHL highlight reel.

If I were NHL Commissioner, I'd change the penalty box rules so that a team would win by forfeit if the opposing team's penalty box had more than five players, EVEN if the game is tied.

Thats not a clean hit, but im not sure i agree with a 3 game suspension, by merit of comparison to other suspensions. Hes got minimal history (one prior fine, as best i can tell), he didnt charge into the hit, and he didnt seem like he particularly adjusted to target the head. For comparison, Stienburg's hit last week or the week before was a charging headshot with debatable targeting and it drew 2 games. The suspension feels like its purely because Boesser was the one who was hit, not so much because of the severity of the hit

hate these cheap shots. Players should get 10 match suspension with like 200k fine. he'll still get his money in the bank. These guys get 500k every week some of them, 200k is nothing. When you enforce that kind of a penalty, you eliminate these cheap shots from happening and injuries.
