Tearing Through the Horde with a Cursed RPK | Crossfire: Sierra Squad on PSVR2
I have now acquired the new goal of wanting to clear all fifty waves of horde mode. This is harder than it sounds, but thankfully my brother-in-arms has made an AK build that rivals an RPK.
Bring forth the horde!

nDreams Announces a New VR Shooter That May Break the Mold (Daily Thoughts)
What map is that how do i play it?
It's one of the final campaign missions, when you enter into the labs to unravel the "super weapon" hinted at throughout the game. Such a cool mission, I wish there was a whole horde map dedicated to it.
That was struggle entire your chest sweating 😎
No denying that 😅😅once that shield breaks, the pressure gets intense.
Nice shooting. Mr Cann
Much obliged.
I bought the game, too. But I'm still checking out. Is that the realistic mode, isn't it? I should try it 😂 looks thrilling. I love the MP5K cause i like to play one handed
Awesome! What headset do you play on? Yes, it is realism, which is easier and harder in its own ways, but if you have a quick aim, you should be fine lol I like the MP5 for the HK slap lmao
@@alanikee838 I play on PS5 the VR2. I did not know you can slap with weapons. Always asked myself what to do in close combat. Nice to know. Thx
@@LightPresident95148 I'm actually referring to the MP5 reload mechanics lol nothing as satisfying as slapping down the bolt in the middle of a gunfight. Though I may have to try melee the enemies if they get that close.
Bro, with aim that good, you should invest in a multi tool weapon mod that deals more damage per shot than that blaster mod. I bet you would slay with a shotgun mod.
That's a good point. I usually lean more towards the Pulse Spitter because it feels like a proper assault rifle. I should attempt another shotgun build. It's the reload time that kill me with the shotgun, but with the right mods, I could make a proper Doom build.
Same with the hardware. The hardware is developing, we just have to wait. There will come a point where the headsets are light, the batteries will last a day and they will look *cool*. The machine of progress just has to grind the the problem down until it is smooth. The machine has started it's work, it's not going to stop until we have retinal implants and BCI.
Absolutely true. I handle the NES or N64 controllers nowadays and wonder to myself, "how the hell did we use these things back in the day?" but over time design, functionality, and ergonomics filled in the gaps, and now we have the DualSense controller. With enough time, VR will be this seamless experience; probably something as simple as a pair of glasses and gloves to simulate touch.
NMS is selling me on the idea of buying a VR headset
Do it! For years I wrote off VR as a gimmick. But When I took the plunge years ago, NMS was one of those games that convinced me how incredible VR can be.
NMS combat reminds me of the Halo combat. If HG add humanoid combat a lot of folks would stop complaining about combat in NMS.
I agree with you entirely. We technically already fight the other alien species in the game in aerial combat; if HG took that to the next level, and allowed to us raid pirate settlements on planets or escort and protect moving convoy from raiders, that would be so cool!
Is there a crosshair somewhere we can't see in the recording on your thing or are you just a god of aiming?
Lmao No, there's no crosshair in the headset, so I would say the latter, but I'm far to humble to claim anything like that. I learned years ago how to point shoot; I guess I finally have a use for it lol Thank you for watching.
Fuck you now I want a VR set. 😆 This is epic!
Zero recoil!?!? Xbox combat on my side feels like Duck Hunt! 😡
The gunplay is much different in VR, especially because I use a stock. I can handle the Multitool like a rifle, and so moving and aiming is so much natural than on flatscreen. Thank you for watching.
Bro i love your multi tool. Where did you get that?
Thank you. I have no idea where I found it, but I always opt for Multitools that kind of have the space rifle aesthetic 😅
You can easily do this from any water world by building a chair you can sit on over the top of any crystal sulfide vent. pick one near shore, build a frame around it careful not to cause it to be destroyed, place a flat piece on the top just a few inches away from the heat vent portion, place a sittable chair on the very center. sit on chair, do not touch controllers, wait, you will be blasted into space, you will get a wee bit of heat damage but not die, if you want to stop your ascent, just mess with the controller and you will descend. lots of fun. i have many at all my water bases!
I'll have to try that out. Sitting isn't an option in VR, so I'd have to experiment with that in flatscreen. I wouldn't mind seeing it though 😅
@@alanikee838 yes you can do it with a VR because your character in NMS can sit
Whats the primary guns name
This is a CAR-15, with a T2 Aimpoint on a 2.26 riser. The game has a ton of awesome guns to use, but this setup is my go-to.
Whats the gun name, so good sounding
by the way i have a psvr2 headest so i understand that it looks so much better in the headset than what you see on your mobile phone screen
Awesome 😅 There's a few PSVR2 that are simply stunning in VR, and some notable ones coming out before the end of the year. I can't wait for Into the Radius to drop next month.
yea i dont think vr is going anywhere ...but i also think its because its cheaper to make a vr headset than a large tv that has like 8k 120hrz micro oled ...... because the headset uses small oled panels its cheaper to manufacturer.....but i also believe that eventually there will be large tv sets that have like mb hologram or 3d technology that gives the same sense of depth and field of view as a vr headset
I use to be of the mindset that VR was a gimmick, so I can understand that viewpoint. But I've been VRing for years and I couldn't imagine gaming without it now. For me, regardless of how big or impressive TVs may become, it could never match the enjoyment of seeing and experiencing it with my own eyes. Thank you so much for commenting.
If you clear all the waves of sentinels does that rid the planet of sentinels totally? Is there a way to clear a planet of sentinels and they dont come back?
Totally? Not really. If you clear all the waves of the Sentinels, then they will be disabled on the planet until you reload the game from a restore point. If you're looking for a way to clear them quickly, you can go straight to a Sentinel Pillar and disable their forces directly, but that'll only last only you reload the game. The dissonance Sentinels never stop attacking; they'll continue spawning regardless of how many waves you endure. Thank you for watching.
Enjoyed it normally then got it for my PSVR2 and holy crap it's a totally different experience!
Absolutely 😅 "holy crap" accurately encapsulates my first impressions as well. To be honest, it still does. Thank you.
Great game excellent in vr when it works
I play on PSVR2, and the experience is just about flawless for me. I know that on PCVR, it can take a bit of work to get it functioning as it should. Thanks for watching.
do u call 8 year old kids screaming tactical or something?
That, my friend, is the wonder of sarcasm lmao
You dont need to bother killing the bugs when you collect eggs just run and jetpack from egg to egg and grab em
But shooting the bugs is the most enjoyable part lol Besides, they updated the game so that now you gather rancid meat when you kill the monstrosities, which can be sold for a high price. Thank you for checking out the video.
your aim bro is insane, and the gameplay with the colosus is crazy !
Thank you, brother. I actually use a VR gunstock when i play NMS, so that allows me to handle the Multitool like a rifle (all that shooting when I was a younger finally has some use lmao). Thank you so much for checking out the video.
@@alanikee838 no problem good job bro !
I did not know it looked this good in VR
It actually looks better in the headset lol Yeah, NMS is something to behold in VR. Thanks for watching.
Experience may be mid on console with a screen, but it's probably the single best VR game to date. And I do mean may. Depends on your level of autism.
Dude i am so jealous. I just moved from spain to aruba and i can not play for very long time, need to put up my setup, but first have to do all my other ‘’stuff for living’’. Feel like i,m missing out so many things at the moment. Glad you have fun though cudos
That I understand. Sometimes "adulting" is the worse lmao I know that firsthand. I hope you can get all the necessities out of the way quickly so you can get back to gaming lol Also, welcome to the Carribean; I actually reside north of you in Jamaica. Thanks for watching.
@@alanikee838 for real?! Extremely cool man! Yes moving here is the best decision of my life, never have i ever been so relaxed with so much to do. Aruba feels like a big village, trapped in the 70-80’s in the us. People here so friendly and easygoing. Can imagine Jamaica feels like that too
@@scrqqge Awesome possum. I'm glad you're having a great time out there. Jamaica can feel the same way at times lol
Love it 🍻 VR is the only way to play. A few buds and I made a stronghold to fight off sentinel attacks a few years back but they kept spawning under or clipping through everything. I wonder if that's been fixed by now
Absolutely, VR is the best hands down. Funny enough, I use to do the same thing as well: build fortresses (especially on aggressive planets) and fight off the waves like it's Starship Troopers. You got me inspired to do it again lol You can minimize the clipping of the Sentinels by how you construct the base. I may have to try it again. Thank you so much for watching.
Haven’t seen a broodmother fight yet!
That is true, and a great idea. Challenge accepted! 😁
6:06 all the laser fire awakens the sandworm. Unexpectedly cool scene.
Yeah, I definitely wasn't expecting that either lol Damn this game is cool. Thank you so much for watching.
I feel like that multitool is a determent in VR. I'm not sure how you're supposed to aim down it without canting it, otherwise you just have a giant atlas ball in your face. The boltcaster I have upgraded can one-burst the sentinels. I think Atlas multitools have a lower damage bonus compared to Sentinel ones.
I was having the same thought. I started using the outer ring like a holographic sight to align my shots lmao The Boltcaster can be wickedly powerful on a Sentinel Mutlitool, but the crutch is the time it takes to clear the field; that constant incoming damage is murder on one's shields and technology lol Thank you so much for watching.
NMS in VR looks indeed very sick
Absolutely, one of the best VR experiences I have ever had. There's always something new to see. Thanks for watching.
Having trouble viewing the weapon HUD in VR? Ultimately when I try to reload the weapon manually the HUD remains blank for 10 seconds
Are you playing on PCVR? 🤔Perhaps I can search a solution and get back to you.
Damn man that gun looks and is sick. You slice right through them!
Thank you lol It's not even an S-class yet. I'm gonna have to farm some nanites and properly upgrade it. Thank you for watching.
Vy'kyn pov
Yah damn skippy lmao Let the great Sentinel hunt begin.
Does it feel as good as it looks? Worth getting in VR if you’ve played like 1000 hours already? Cause this looks too cool
Wholehearted yes!!! If you enjoyed the game after a thousand hours, then VR is gonna feel like a transformative experience. The scale and detail when you see it with your own eyes is hard to convey, and shooting in VR is so much better than on flatscreen. Thank you so much for watching.
instead of posting with ur free time how bout u go live

@@alanikee838 how you post everyday then, HUH?
@@Gh0styoo 😅😅😅 because I don't sleep at night. But it makes no sense to stream at midnight. I'll make a point to get home early tonight.
@@alanikee838 ok👍
Is this a new Mass Effect game?
Maybe one day, but not yet. To be honest, Bioware should be taking notes lol NMS has really set the bar for me in regard to space exploration. Thanks for watching.
I do agree with you. I play the game on challenging (which seems to have become more difficult since the last update), but even then, I would love combat in the game to be grueling. I do enjoy fighting the Sentinels on the dissonance planets, because they don't stop after five waves; they don't stop at all. Now, the latest rumors from the recent datamining have revealed a potential "purple" star system that may have completely new flora, fauna and enemies, so fingers crossed. Thank you so much for watching.
Graphics are so ugly compared to Pre-NEXT era
It's an airless planet. They're ugly, but near limitless jetpacking due to low gravity. There's much prettier out there.
There are moments when this game looks simply stunning. Though I actually the barrenness of airless planets; makes me feel like an Apollo astronaut. Thank you for watching.
So true man, been there too at the beginning, seeing ‘games’ grow from pixelated freubelings to full epic stories. My wife gave me a nintendo system for my birthday, snes i believe, it had the cassette with secred of mana, still hear the tjne in my head now while i write this, think it was 30y ago. That game so simple but we could play together on the same screen, hacking and slashing, buying new gear at the store, those were happy times! Now we have NMS an asgards wrath 2 o my god dreams do come through!
See, here is a man who understands. It's been an amazing journey seeing how far gaming has come, and the potential of where it may go in the coming years. Secret of Mana was my jam on the SNES; I use to play through it, beat it, and then just start it again. And you ain't lying; even to this day I will occasionally pull up the soundtrack on RUclips and relive the memories. It's great to hear that you and your wife share the same hobby; you're winning at life brother. Thank you for watching.
@@alanikee838 so true man so true
How is that planet so barren? I thought it was elite dangerous at first. I've not seen a planet like this on xbox
Look for airless planets, most of them are barren, little to no buildings as well.
I love finding these types of planets; it feels like I'm visiting the moon. Thank you for watching.
Low atmosphere planets. Drains life support faster, but you can jetpack around them due to low gravity.
Great NMS VR content! Keep it up! 💜
Thank you so much!
Booooooooring 🥱
I only play nms in vr it is the best game experience i ever had, to all that never done nms vr, it is insane! The reality sense is out of this world (haha) wait till you get in your ship and fly of to space
Absolutely. Once you've experienced the game in VR, it's so hard to go back to it in flatscreen. Flying the starship, landing on planets and fighting Sentinels are vastly better in VR. I wish everyone could try it. Thank you for watching.
very cool, your aim is on point. cant wait for my index controllers (for PCVR) to come back from an RMA, i seriously miss it.
Thank you. I actually use a VR gunstock, so that allows me to aim the multitool like it's an actual rifle. I hope you get your controllers back soon; there's Sentinels and bugs need exterminating (insert my country drawl lol)
How is VR? last time I tried it lagged the hell out for me, and I have a decent PC where I have played more VR titles maybe I didnt set it up properly I will try again someday
I play on the PSVR2, which I must admit, is extremely optimized on the PS5. I have heard from talking to others that getting NMS working on PCVR can take a bit of work, but I would encourage you to try again, especially with how great the latest update has been. Thanks for watching.
@@YokaiSpardaHunter yeah i had the same problem, but with the help of the continuous support and updates of some ‘connect wireless to pc programs’ the connection got better and better. Also tuning down your graphic wish list helped a lot. Now the game is far better optimized for the quest and ps5 and it is a joy to play, for me truly it is a dream came true. Landing on planets and exploring, examining stuff, getting in my ship, landing on a darelict freighter and have some tension in my game, after looting a bit i fly to a space station for some beers and talking to the locals. Life is good
I have 16 hundred hours on NMS a thousand of them played in VR it is a whole different game and I still can't believe there's people that don't know about it, hope your video reach all of them.
Behold a real veteran of the stars! I agree completely; NMS is a great game on its own but playing it in VR is transformative. Thank you so much, Traveller, for your kind words.
I know about it but VR is too expensive
@@gridselix Yeah, I can understand that. I play VR on PlayStation (first on the PSVR1, and then on the VR2) and it's been a great streamlined experience for me, and probably the most affordable option for high-end VR gameplay. Something to consider, though the headset can be expensive, most VR games are surprisingly affordable, with some of the best not being more than thirty dollars, so the long-term cost does get minimized.
need to upgrade my whole pc to play nms vr my guy
thats sick
Thank you so much!
Man this looks like a ton of fun in vr.
Yeah, too much fun, I'm losing sleep here 😅 But VR really elevates the experience; so much so, that it's hard to go back to the flatscreen. Thanks for watching.
Me 2 on vr2 i am addicted to nms building in creative mode :) I also dond play flatscreen games annymore
jesus i didn't realise how big the colossus was
Yeah, that's one of the cool things about VR; it allows one to see the actual size of some of these objects. That's one of the main benefits that first got me hooked on VR 😁 Thanks for watching.
