Excellent comment(s) :) I would sincerely not be surprised if we learned that Agatha in the product of r***, possibly by Mephisto having tricked her mother. Her and Agatha reminded me A LOT of Carrie (Stephen King/Brian De Palma). Also her addiction to power parrallels in a weird way Alice's selflessness: Agatha's addiction made her powerful her entire life and in the end, regaining a small part of that power made her miserable and punished by Billy, while Alice has been miserable her whole life and on the days before her death and during her death itself, she's never been as powerful and glorious. I need to check other works done by the writing team, because they created A MASTERPIECE. And I'm barely halfway through like… O_o'

​@@TheMedicalDemon Actually it's not Waxer, it's Boil. Honestly IDK why but in this arc Boil has the painting/drawing on his helmet. But Waxer has the drawing later when they get phase 2 armor. It's weird, but yah it's actually Boil.

Maybe I'm asking too much, but I want more and more episodes (or long sequences inside episodes) focused on specific clones!! I think I'm gonna love the Bad Batch, but until then I NEED more troopers on the main stage. The voice actor is SO GOOD!

​@@demsaelYou'll get that in time. For instance one of the best arcs in the show is in S4. And it's basically all clones in that story.

The bridge definitely makes me emotional, especially with the «I can see it, I can kill it» added by Alice. You can sense the strength this song she hates so much gives her when she finds out how it was a gift from Lorna that kept her alive all these years 😭

@@demsael Some people never really warm to Agatha because, well, she’s mostly kind of a jerk. Others, like myself, take that part of her in stride because she’s so awesome in other ways. I also find how her “no f*cks to give” attitude hilarious. She’s smart, and not used to working in a coven. But when she’s motivated, she takes the lead. “Time to brew an antidote.” “We have to sing Lorna’s Ballad.” “Stop phoning it in. Play like a witch.” These are among her strengths. However, I’m not sure any of them buy “I’m not that kind of witch anymore!”

You're right! I think you'll like my reaction towards her in the next episode! I'm still editing it but I remember having a bit of compassion ☺️

@@demsael I watch reactors to see how other viewers are experiencing something I enjoyed. It''s interesting to me when they experience it differently. That makes makes me see thinks freshly. And since I'm ahead of you, I have to remember, "how exactly did I experience this the first time?" For me, there was bias because I just loved the character from Wandavision, villainy and all. I'll shut up now.

Your first comment is why I don't trust her. As you said, she was trapped for 3 years but only got out a day or two MAX. She had no time to grow, so I can't root for a villain who got no time to reflect on her actions. Please don't spoil anything, but I guess I'll see at the end how I feel about her then 😉

@@demsael Lorna Wu’s version has such beautiful meaningful lyrics from mother to daughter, once you know the story. And Ali Ahn sang her part so well. This is the only episode that takes its title from the Lorna wording.

Let's hope they'll make her a powerful witch in a future season of What If?... I'd go crazy to see that happening ! The actress is soooo good, she needs to come back 💚 (Big Little Lies was such a wonderful series! RIP Jean-Marc Vallée 😔)

Thank you very much for your kind words! <3 I must say I had(/have) the highest expectations for this show after WandaVision, and for now it delivers! Can't wait to see more “active” magic though... But I hope it won't be on the “TOO MUCH” scale and will stay kinda eerie and abstract for the most part. I love Dr. Strange's skills but I feel like the witches magic must stay more subtle and mysterious (at least visually), to not say “elevated” (#imasnob)

@ It’s definitely emotional, but ultimately uplifting. I can’t recommend the show enough. It helped heal some of my trauma from my early gay days. 😂 I’ve watched it more times than I care to admit.

Jar Jar isn't racist per say, but the character weighs racist tropes in his dialect and accent

@@demsael I'm not sure I understand.. They're a weird frog-people that live underwater secluded from the rest of the life of their planet (although they do speak the same language so I presume they co-existed at some point) so they've logically developed a different accent and their languages have started going to slightly different directions, right? Only natural. It's a miracle to me they even speak the same language. And don't forget Jar Jar is one of the dumbest of the Gungans as a whole, and that is made clear in The Phantom Menace. Do you also think Master Yoda, or rather his character design, is racist because he speaks backwards? Or did I completely misunderstand you?

I mean that when they created the character, they put stereotypical stuff on him that resonate with the black community in a bad way. Same for Anakin's slave-master and the jewish community, or with the Trade Federation leaders and japanese people... I really love the universe George Lucas created but some choices are shady at best, completely innapropriate at worse. But your analysis is 100% correct. The in-lore reason their accent is so strong is because it's not the Gungans first language, but a learned one.

@@demsael well sure, everything in Star Wars has their real life counter-parts, like The Republic/Empire and America. Personally, I don't see anything racist about it not only because drawing parallels to real life seems entirely natural to me, but also because people really weren't even really aware of these things being possibly offensive because getting offended over these things wasn't really even invented back then. Stereotypes can sometimes be incredibly overblown and simplified, but they do always have a basis in reality, I find. But you seem to be more immersed in jewish, black and Japanese cultures than me so I suppose I can't really say much more about this subject, since these cultural things and such don't really interest or concern me at all. You may be right that they have parallels, but I don't think there was any ill intention behind that. Just a much smaller world back then, and a vastly different one too. :)

I like the fact that although there is basically no risk for a important character to die, Star Wars really like to mutilate its protagonists, so the stress level stays high in all circomstances! I was so scared she was going to lose her leg or something like that...

Damn… But that explain the interaction she had in my last video (free on ko-fi) with Luminara when she tells Ventress her fighting style is similar to Dooku's but «unrefined». Studying alone for so long made her abilities more trivialistic, less conventional. That's her biggest strength AND weakness.
