Always a great time at Slovenfest .
Old Timer's Waltz
Fred Gregorich! I miss him so much.
Love to see my cousin, Frank Butsch playing here.
O
glorified pick-up band
Hey we're not locked down anymore. Please post current stuff
How about their current stuff. You know we're not locked down anymore.
What all the words to this song?
too much noise. hard to make out melody.
Great way to get the party started, or keep it going! Good job, guys!!!
You were a very lucky band to have Joey miskulin play with you
The only two things that are missing are a banjo player and a keyboard that sounds like a organ player.
Nice half box, what make is it??
Lepa pesem in Lepa petje
I remember this!
Gotta love Slovenefest!
Wow
Joey miskulin is the best accordion player of all time
Great beat and
You had a real upright bass player there and he was left out of the video?! Boo! The drummer is having great time it appears.
That’s a bad recording it’s too schrill
Sax player thought he was in marching band, too loud.!!!!!!!¡
No way...good balance.
Sax and banjo, that's Cleveland!!
Outstanding
Žuženberk Polka
K
"Daddy Dugan's Polka". With Chuck Rote on second box.
Are those accordions both half chromatic? Good tone 👌
Chuck Rote on the other accordion.
"Janez and Lojze's Polka". Chuck Rote on second box.
Wayne is that a half chromatic Mervar that Rob is playing? Good sounds 👍
@@larryanzek636 Hi Larry, yes, they are both half-chromatic Mervars.
@@eezysqueezy1953 Thanks Wayne. My Dad's playing the Mervar in my RUclips channel photo. I'm in the background following up on the Melodija box. Enjoy your playing on the cordeen 👏
Chuck Rote on second accordion.
Chuck Rote on second accordion.
"Dear Boy Polka", or the Slovenian song "Imam dekle v Tirolah"
"Pozdrav z Dolenjska" by Lojze Slak. Can't think of the Pecon title.
"Cherry Orchard Waltz". And that's Chuck Rote on second accordion.
That's a cool accordion. Sounds great 👍👍👍
If You know the Song Title please help out. I'm finally getting to my Icloud songs from last year. Enjoy
great beat and pause. boom boom. paul
2:12 Polka Poppers Polka, 4:34 Howg Wobbler, 6:47 Mocilnikar's Polka
Thanks
This is Timko Plays Hoyer Polka
Thanks!!!
Great band!!
Very good band! Enjoy his music!!
I belive the first polka is by Eddie Habat Up the hill to Uncle John's Place, then, I want Some Lovin
If Anyone knows the names of the other Polkas, please help.
Dancing to this music is pure heaven! Find me in this video.
Go Joey!!
A blast from the past. Not sure that Eddie is still playing. All the polka bands from my youth are gone: Bass, Mullec, Pecon/Trebar, Fedorchak, Yankovic and so many more. What's worse, seems like there are very few taking the place of those "giants of the polka world". I prefer the "Cleveland Style" Slovene polkas, which is what i was brought up on (and yes, I did take accordion lessons from Petromelli's when I was a kid). Nice to hear the Eddie Rodick band again ...
ONLY ONE GOOD TYPE OF POLKA MUSIC - SLOVENIAN BUTTON BOX POLKAS ESPECIALLY FROM CLEVELAND.
AMEN
I’m from Germany but I agree whole heartedly. The accordion was made to Slovenian Music!
This is the Incline Polka I do believe
In between the polkas sometimes they call out the name of the polka. Actually the polka after When you're Smiling, there is a short bridge of a polka and then Perko's Polka, written by Art Perko, which is the one you are asking about.
I found it! It's not Perko's Polka - but it is an Art Perko Polka! That was the hint that got me to it! It's called "Adamic's Polka". Thanks for replying.
Sorry Nate I don't know the name of the the first song.
That's okay. Thank you for replying. I can't find the name of this song anywhere! I've been scouring through every Cleveland style archive I can find and no hits yet. One day I will figure this out!
