What did we get our selves into?!
When I 3D printed my wing stands, I embedded nuts in the print to give the studs something to grip.
32:22 No brakes, no lights, no radio, not a single luxury.
Excellent!
Interesting on the wing stands. I worked with a guy to make a set. He 3D scanned them and I cleaned it up a bit and sent him a set. The ones we did have the webbing on the inside.
Good stuff. I would have removed the clips off the lenses and evaporusted them too.
And a Delorean!
You have a ton of knowledge, and I appreciate the videos. Constructive criticism: You ramble a bit too much and spend too much time thinking out loud. The amount of time you spent showing how to tighten screws is not needed. Just trying to help because I would like to see someone with your knowledge to have a bigger channel.

Looking forward to seeing inside the tractor. I hear the new headliner and custom carpet were installed this same day.
2025 is going to be another ambitious year for both prime mover & trailer!
Nice video - good information and instructions. When braking loose line fittings with a tubing wrench, I like to put the vise grip on the outside of the wrench head to ensure I don't round off the corners.
Really enjoying watching all the fixes you're doing on the Fiero. Thanks for all the info.
Just got an 84 thanks for video
@@TakethisL-d9n Awesome! Great to see another Fiero owner!
@BlackKnightGarage just had to replace the two sensors for the temperature gauge did an oil change just have to do a brake fluid flush because it is midnight black and right side headlight relay I think it's not going up or down after manually do it
Awesome to see, brought back a lot of memories of fiddling around with that '83 T/A I had at your old place in Pensacola. And that never to be repeated incident with the front driver's side wheel coming off the car and rolling along side me and then into the median, ha! Cannot thank you enough for all your help with that ole machine. I still have my 4th season dash, switchpods, and upper and lower consoles sitting safely tucked away in the attic.
Looks great! Brings back my childhood.
looks great
thay have 6 lights on the bomer on kitt
@@sylvaingosselin1155 The first 2 seasons do have 6. The last 2 have 4.
You put new meaning to the term "rambling". Good luck with your project.
Is the lock plate part of the mechanism that locks the steering column when the keys are out? My steering column partially locks. I can hear it clicking when I turn the steering wheel and it only offers a little resistance.
@@CoreyB0 it is. There is a pin that moves into the plate and keeps the wheel from turning.
Miss the GT. An all time classic.
@@patrickgreen2361 I agree. Such a fun car for what it was.
Where did you get the new spoiler gaskets from?
@@CoreyB0 I got those from The Fiero Store.
Nice video and where did you buy the screw driver. I have an 87gt too. I just replaced my condenser, so much fun. I have had the car for 14 years. It's getting a c compressor.
@@jcmusco The screwdriver is a Snap On. AC is on the list for things for me too!
How did you get the studs in the 3d printed mount and being able to get tightened down without it breaking?
@@mariannehuys5182 it wasn’t bad really, they are printed with a high percentage infill so they are pretty dense. The home were made slightly smaller then I tapped them to size. The studs are very secure, they dont move at all.
A pet peeve of mine is how most people mount the fog lights incorrectly. Makes the car look like it has a toothy grin. The lights were never staggered on the cars from the TV show. I "THINK" the 4th season hero car had them mounted in front of the impact bar instead of inside.
Cool.
Interesting video. Nice garage and drive way.
Just a heads up! Before the 'remarriage' (i.e. when the semi gets hitched to the trailer), the following works need to be undertaken as follows: 1. Changeover to a two-piece tailshaft (the 'straight' one that's currently on it is NOT the original!). 2. 5th Wheel Rebuild (especially the locking mechanism and crossmembers!). 3. Acquiring a Kenmore brand kitchenette with screen-accurate details. (Mainly; Gas Burners, F/R markings above the burner knobs and 'blanking panel' on the right of the fridge door!)
Came here based on the recommendation from Knight Rider Historians! Good luck with the channel!
That must be a season 3 interior because the season 4 interior only has one computer screen.
Thanks for the run down. Got a new sub. Looking forward to the future videos of how to do all that stuff.
Be interesting to see one monitor as a back up camera
Just ordered the studs. I’m thinking of making more soon. I crudely painted one and mounted it to see how it would hold up. So far it’s amazing! Will let you guys know when the new ones are available
Dude just a heads up you don't have to keep reminding everybody that the car was built over 20 years ago when you're feeling self conscious about a decision you made 20 years ago. It's fine most people don't even have the ability to build s*** like you do so you don't have to sit there and worry about being self-conscious about something just be proud that you have the ability to do this s***. I can't even find the f****** time to work on a daily driver anymore let alone be able to do this s*** as a hobby. I used to love installing in building customs and doing the fiberglass work and all sorts of s***.
He outta be proud of that statement in itself. Most of my friends I knew 20 years ago isn't around topside to tell their stories...
Dude you need a Fall Guy tribute truck to trailer Kitt to car shows with
great work on 3D stands. I'm interested on a set in the future if you sell them with stainless studs in them
I’d love to see how you would use the 3d printed stands as I’m in need of new ones myself
👍
I like docs car the best.
So mouse hotel is what it became
Cool car McFly. That upholstery is not cheap. It has many miles on it many in the air some through lava. I sat in this car at universal studios. Trust me. you don’t want it to talk(that’s what the speakers are for)
Modern GPT gives hope for the dream to come true with a two way chat... with KITT. Right now, it's... 'work bench Kitt'.

It’s awesome!
Nice cars...you have lots of skills...i could never do what you do...keep up the good..looks very profession.
Wow 😮
That’s a pretty good idea.
What kind of scan tool
I’m using a Snap On MTG2500. The big red brick. It’s great for old OBD1 stuff.
@@BlackKnightGarage thank you
@@habenero_fpv no prob. They pop up on EBay pretty often. The base version, the MT2500, is just as useful, it just doesn’t graph.
I'm also in the North East, I have an 87 GT like yours, but with a 3800.
I’ve seen a lot of that swap happening lately. Sounds like a ton of fun!
It's a blast. I have a built 3800sc in mine
So awesome brother
Have you considered changing the ashtrays for charging stations?
