056 Practical q-IND-CPA-D-Secure Approximate Homomorphic Encryption w/ Lea Nürnberger
Просмотров 97Месяц назад
# Abstract At Eurocrypt 2021 Li and Micciancio presented a passive key recovery attack on CKKS, leveraging its approximate nature. They proposed a new security notion for approximate homomorphic encryption schemes: q-IND-CPA-D security. In their initial work they left achieving q-IND-CPA-D security for CKKS as an open problem, but they proposed two approaches: noise flooding and exact CKKS. Thi...

055 FHE Beyond IND-CCA1 Security w/ Jérôme Nguyen
Просмотров 93Месяц назад
# Abstract It is standard to consider a fully homomorphic encryption (FHE) scheme secure if it maintains the privacy of the encrypted messages under chosen-plaintext attacks (CPA). However, in the past few years more and more practical attacks on various CPA-secure FHE schemes have shown that this is too optimistic. This talk will give an overview of the different attack vectors that are not co...

052 Functional bootstrapping for FV style cryptosystems w/ Seonhong Min
Просмотров 1803 месяца назад
# Abstract A new bootstrapping framework for the Fan-Vercuteren (FV) scheme, called the functional bootstrapping will be introduced in the presentation. This framework provides more generic and advanced functionality than the ordinary bootstrapping method. More specifically, the functional bootstrapping allows us to evaluate an arbitrary function while removing the error of an input ciphertext....

BASALISC: Integrated Hardware Acceleration for BGV, CKKS, and BFV FHE w/ David Archer
Thank you for the extremely useful content on TFHE! By the way I was just wondering why Zama doesn't use the CKKS homomorphic scheme.
Very interesting!!
the best conference ever am really amazed how OPEN the FHE community is
Must seen for everyone willing to start with Fully Homomorphic Encryption!
i am not really a math expert but i would want to build applications using homomorphic encryption. Where do i start?
Best place to start is fhe.org. Loads of resources, and you can join the community and ask any question you like. See you there!
Thank you so much. I’ve joined the community but I barely get responses. Currently building a fullstack web application with RSA and would like to be mentored. Already wrote the encryption logic.

Great talk, thank you.
Thx, I missed it
Thanks very interesting!
I'm confused about bootstrapping; if the server can encrypt the value of X with it's own key. And then decrypt the value of X when it's in Y; aren't both the decryption keys present on the server then? Because that would defeat any confidentiality goals. Or is bootstrapping done client-side?
The bootstrapping key is a public key, so the server doesnt need to decrypt anything or have the private keys
good perspective
Interesting!
cant understand the bootstrapping implementation process from 01:03 to 01:28 what is V exactly ? and what is the relation between V and m did we supose that all the possible plaintext ordered in V ? supose that m is real numbr ... how? realy .... confusing!
Jump on the FHE.org discord server, the community will help you with this: discord.fhe.org
I have a question regarding the API. Shouldn't it be a Ciphertext in the rescale signature at 19:10 ? Is there a case where we need to rescale a Plaintext at all?
Hey Martin, Taekyung is on the Discord server, I'd advise to try to reach out to him there: discord.fhe.org :)
Hi. we dont need to rescale a plaintext. Acctually, in the vedio, it's a ciphertext, in which a message(plaintext) hides.
Great presentation!! 🙂
Great talk, learnt a lot, thanks.
This talk is great! BTW, do you guys know where I could find information about conferences and workshops on FHE?
Hey there, Glad you like the talk of this Meetup - Join our discord server to find more about events about FHE: discord.fhe.org
Hi, May I know if any implementation libs support the bootstrapping operations of CKKS or not? If yes, where could I find it and its demos or examples.
Amazing talk, extremely profound content and great simplified explanations
Thanks for sharing this, how ever i have a question, in the minute 03:30, when talk about other people can contribute, referes to the public encryption evaluation key? if not, what is the use of the encryption eval key? Thanks
Hey there, I would advise that you join the discord server, you'll have answers there: discord.fhe.org :)
Super-great talk!
Is HHE a leveled scheme approach?
Hello @Nola Clear LLC, we encourage you to join the community on discord here: discord.fhe.org for every questions related to our meetups! :)
Sounds awesome... who doesnt want to know the latest regardig the lateset encryption methods.... hope to accelerate FHE i f possible
Oh that's awesome
The great job
Thank you.
Hi, Is the hnumpy library available to public?
Hello, thanks for your question, we're releasing a public beta of our Concrete Numpy next week, you can subscribe to our newsletter to make sure to be notified: zamafhe.substack.com/
Best description of the concept I’ve seen yet!
Thanks so much for the feedback!
The best FHE talk I have heard. Dive deep into the technique but the explanation is very intuitive and easy to understand. Thank the speaker and FHE_org team.
Thank you for the nice feedback!
What a great talk! Technical but explained in such simple terms. Would love to hear more in-depth talks like this!
Thank you for the feedback! We'll be posting more in-depth talks like this soon :)
Exceptional presentation! Been working/researching on somewhat same vision. Keep up the great work!
Probably the best tutorial I've seen on FHE. Where can I download the actual ppt file? The video bar on the right is super annoying and blocks some key contents ...
Thanks! You can find the slides here: fhe.org/talks/2020-11-04_introduction_to_fhe If you want a deeper dive on FHE, Ilaria Chillotti gave a talk last week also: fhe.org/talks/2021-04-15_tfhe_deep_dive

Yes that’s the idea! We are working on a framework to help with ML usecases. Coming soon :)
