If you write them I bet they’ll either fix it with an over-the-air update or make a running production change!

A study was done a few decades back to figure out the biggest reasons children get stressed. The biggest reason was being lorded over/ monitored constantly. We are a generation that has been told that everything needs to be padded/safe, everyone gets a trophy, everyone needs to be constantly supervised and everyone else is assumed to be bad based on things they can’t change (toxic masculinity etc etc) The answer is to be more free/ rough and tumble, not more therapy or monitoring or rules or whatever. We’re slowly committing mental suicide and we think the answer is to have a boot on our necks and someone barking in our ear telling us what to do.

I’ve been on my healing journey for over a year and I still can’t get myself to stop the constant vibe checks of a room. I people watch and pay attention to every movement around me waiting for an altercation even if it’s calm

All my exes came after years and told me that it was their biggest mistake in life too let me go or end the relationships. After YEARS and long-term relationships they recognise my worth and how I gave all. Don't know how I feel about that. It's kind of an honor that they finally see me as what I am/was and gave me more value but also I am so sad about the fact that they needed years and other relationships to value me and what I bring to the table.
