Fender Stratocaster Made in Japan 1957 Reisue
Greco tih godina je biser od instrumenta. Ja imam iz 1977. Definitivno ostaje u nasljedstvo.
Apsolutno se slažem!
Snimaj nešto svoje, te tvoje solaže stvarno imaju smisla (melodija, tehnika, fraze sve je tu )
hvala, hvala, tko zna mozda jednom ;) 🎸
Hi! Can you explain difference between EG59-50 from EG59-60, EG59-70? As I seen, you’ve played on all of it. But what exact differences between them?
They are all great guitars, can't go wrong with either of eg59s ;)
@@alenv360 So do i think. But i'd like to know exact difference between them. But you don't know. Ok. Thanks a lot!
@@martymcfly2572 I did'nt say I don't know I have them all I know them all :) , just that isnt much of a question for a youtube comment, couse it requires a long story if I would like to give you a correct answer. Generally eg59-50 are alway the whole mint collection period plaintops with screamin paf pickups or a solid colour like a goldtop or a store order colour. And when we get to a eg59-70 there is a difference between years , the early could be plaintops with double trick pickups, and later on they are flametop venner ones with a dry pickups like this one in the video. You are welcome!
@@alenv360 Thanks a lot! If i understood rightly it not had especially difference between them, fo except top color and pickups, is it wright? Have them difference between a wood quality? And last question, what of them i asked is the most the best for your opinion, 50 or 60 or 70?
@@martymcfly2572 this numbers are price in yen when new as all MIJ guitars including Fenders to this day. Higher the number higher the specs higher the price ;)
It’s cool! This is 500 or 700 model?
Damn, that was beautiful man
Chris Buck who?
Haha fala 🎸
That Greco sounds pretty good! How's the neck compare in terms of feel & finish (fret jabs)?
This Greco is probably my best playing guitar, the Gibson is gone now but it was excellent playing guitar also, maybe a bit thinner neck than this Greco here..
Ok so its not a fender re issue at all , never the less tokai makes fabulous high quality fender replicas
@@bobbyarthur-yf3yf www.fuzzfaced.net/st57-70-st57-650-stratocaster.html
@@alenv360 interesting but you mentioned yours was a tokai , this is fender re issue data .. I have 4 tokai guitars and they are amazing but I also have a few strats and one is a 94 /57 reissue made in USA … love the fenders but tokai are really amazing built guitars
@@bobbyarthur-yf3yf the guitar is Fender Stratocaster 57 Reissue ST57-70 model Made in Japan ( in the Tokai factory this one) - most are made in Fujigen or Dyna Gakki factory ( the current production is Dyna) , but at some point they were made in the Tokai factory also.
@@alenv360 owww my apologies I understand now. Well that is one of the best kinda fenders as they had tokai build them as they at that time could not do as good a job as tokai in crafting those guitars !!
@@alenv360 yes for about fifteen years roughly late 90s till about 2015 roughly and the quality was fabulous which is why I bought a 59 replica strat and a 50s replica tele with law suit head stocks from tokai just a couple years after they stopped producing fenders … these guitars can’t be sold in the USA as they are replicas and perfect
Excellent playing and guitar. What year is it? I have a '93-94 ST-62 myself, same kinda sunburst. MIJ is fantastic.
@@EvilThunderB0lt thnk you! It is mid 90s also - N0 serial, Tokai made this one 🎸
Sounds great love it
@@regandunn4850 thank you 🎸
great tone, please make more videos of this guitar
Wow, well done! You play so good.. and your guitar is awsome aswell 😮🔥
Tnx man! 🎸🎸
Are they 7.25 “ radius?
Most of them are 9 or even 12 , some are 7,25 depends on year and model.
@@alenv360 to be honest , from the photos i saw, they seem flat, yes
Hello mate, wondering are these of similar quality to fender japan? Thanks for the demo
Yes absolutely , late 70s early 80s they are great guitars. I even prefer them often to fender japan, especially maxon pickups.
@@alenv360 hello again allen, i am doing a very extensive rsearch for both fender st57, and greco se 600 or 700, there is a bunch out there . the prices are gone up in the uk. and seem to me that grecoare almost the same price as fender japan. which is really strange. also i was wondering if the grecos have vintage fretboard radius of 7.25? or is it different from fenders? regards Waell
@@mywaveinwoodswoodperfumes it all depends on the exact model and year, it is best to check the catalog specs although often this can vary couse remeber Grecos were handmade guitars - the Greco fender style guitars, no cnc back then, Fujigen got CNC when they made the deal with Fender in 1982. Regarding the radius I had all kind of Greco strats in the range se500-se800 Project series and some have vintage 7,25 radius and some have 9 or even 12 I would say. The earlier ones se800 have 7,25 regurarly if not even smaller some of them. But on the other hand I had few se600 from 1980-82 that were 9 radius. It all depends on the model and year.
@@alenv360 just ordered one of these se700 hope its all original, this is what it seems in the photos, mine finished in black, with white single ply aged pickguard. maple fingerboard, dont know about the condition of the fret wear though. hope everything ok. and thank you so. much for the info its really precious and very much appreciated. also i couldn't find catalogs in english, also the ones in Japanese seem very hard to find online.
GRECO is reely good !
I agree
Where did you get your guitar from?
From Japan
Beautifull solo
Thank you!
I like the Alnico 2 the best!👍🏽
I have a JS98K, one of my favorite guitars to play ever I can never put it down
Yes, Dry 1982 are the real deal 🎸
Sretan sam vlasnik upravo ove gitare. Ta gitara je svetinja.
Bas mi je drago 😊🎸
Care
😊🎸 🎸
You did well!! I bought se800 for only 3 $ It is still reasonable in japan
To many affects to hear a difference on this end.
difference is very subtle but obvious- Nashville sounds and feels tighter, I can spot also the differnce in my playing and bends ( prefer abr) even now 2 years later whwn I watch this, but the best way is to try it yourself ;)
Is this comparing fair? 😂
That was incredible. Do you play professionally. You must’ve put in hours of practice in order to be able to play like that.
Thank you!
Holy crab that greco sounds amazing
That's fpr sure, thanx!
🎸🎼🎵🎶👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you!
F*cking brilliant!
Thank you very much!
@@alenv360 Just watched this again. Can you tell me what year your EG800 is from? Also, do you remember what gauge strings you were using here? Thanks so much! 🙏👍✌
Hi. I"ve been watching and loving your channel today. You've done a wonderful job of demoing so many MIJ guitars that otherwise don't get heard/seen much. So, thank you and bravo! Question: How would you compare this Edwards 108 to the Greco LPs you have had in terms of basic quality/playability? Some of those Greco LPs now have legendary status. Are they really THAT much better than Edwards? Thank you and cheers from usa. 👍🙏✌
Thank you very much, I can only tell you Edwards are great guitars but I prefer Grecos :)
Sick lick at 1:26. Really liked that part Bc you changed your jam without me knowing it. You sounded good!
Awesome chops and great tone Alen.
Thank you !
These models are so good 👍
I agree, excellent guitars
w job
Nice sound that is it through a pc?
Tnx! Yes it is :)
You play some real good guitar.
Thank you!
Yep he’s good
Hello Alen, can I please ask you for the Greco serial number as I own a very similar model from 1990? 😎
Hey you can send me yours I can check, but I think I already had it's brothers and sisters haha
Alen can I send some picture of my EGC600 on messenger please?
I sent pictures on messenger 🙂
That's some pretty good noodling there.
Thank you my friend 🎸
Nije loš strat ... to neš novo ? 😊
Odlican je, mislim da nije bio ovdje kad si bio..ces probat kad dođeš jednom valjda
what humbucker on Greco ??? i have originals.... marked Cortek...is it possibile ?? or have been changed before i buy it ??
In my Greco are stock pickups - screamin paf, your guitar then is probably a later Korean made Greco
@@alenv360 no evidence.... maybe. ty
@@giovannibi what evidence man? not sure if I get you ?
you certainly know how to play..
tnx man!
How do your other Greco strats compare to this project series one?
They are all great strats. I had two regular se800 from 1976 I think and this one has significally bigger neck ( and not schaller but greco tuners)
Greco sounds better...
ho una Blade RH4 del 1993 uguale a questa (ma con meccaniche nere) ...una meravigliosa chitarra. costruita benissimo. Posso chiederti come hai regolato il VSC?
Those are the top instruments, I think I adjusted up position more scooped for cleaner sound and down position boosted.
